"Are you sure you are up for this?"
Xisuma sighed. "For the seventh time, yes." X looked around. "I don't think I can stand being stuck in this room any longer. I want to do something. "
"If you start to feel weak or light headed..." Doc started to say.
"I know, I know. Tell you and we can stop and rest."
Doc looked back uncertainly. "It really wouldn't be an issue."
Xisuma knew that Doc was concerned, but he was beginning to feel stir crazy. He readjusted his helmet. "I have something I need to do."
Doc let out a sigh. "I understand."
X walked through the door and stared down the empty hallways. This was his first time looking around this building and he had no clue which way was the way out. He stood there lost. Doc's chuckle came from behind him. "You have no clue which way to go, do you?"
He felt his face go hot. "Yeah, I never thought that far ahead."
X glared at Doc as he let out a huge laugh. Doc pointed his finger down the hall to his right. "The exit is this way."
Looking down the hall he saw a double door, clearly marked 'EXIT'. Xisuma ignored Doc's laughter as he walked away. Doc tried, and failed, to stop his laughing. "I know. I'm a huge derp."
Stepping outside, the sun was blinding. He rapidly blinked, trying to get use to the light. He had never walked around this part of the server. There wasn't much greenery since most Hermits didn't want to bother with plants in the mesa, but the few buildings around looked amazing. He started walking down the path and noticed Scar's base in the distance. He couldn't help but feel grateful that he knew where they were since he didn't wan to ask for directions again.
X let out a small whistle. "I never will get bored of looking at Scar's terraforming."
Doc nodded. "I don't understand how you could be so amazing at building."
"I'm so glad he joined." Xisuma thought back to when Scar joined Hermitcraft. He had been so nervous, but he quickly became a part of the group and all of the Hermits absolutely loved him.
They continued to walk over to the shopping area. The sun, as always, was extremely hot, but X preferred it to being trapped in that room.
Before long, the shopping area was in the distance. The two approached the bridge leading in. "Are you going to tell me what you are planning on doing?" Doc asked.
"Well, me and Ren were talking..." Xisuma stopped. "Do you hear that?"

Sorry for the abrupt cutoff, the short chapter, and the long wait. School has been crazy and writer's block sucks. It is crazy, we've passed 200 reads when last chapter we had passed 100 (which is still insane). Thank you all for reading and showing your support for this story, it really does mean a lot. As always, comments are welcome and reading them makes my day. I don't know if you noticed, but the chapter title is no longer just another part of The Log Father. That story will still carry on, but I wanted to be open to other Hermits. Which Hermits are next is all up to you. Next chapter will still be Doc and Xisuma, but we'll see who is after that. Again, thank you guys so much!
Look to brighten someone's day today (or tomorrow since I'm writing this relatively late at night)
