"Where is that damn dress? Undyne stand up you must be sitting on it." I was frantically running around my room, getting ready for my date with Sans.

"Geez, bestie, chill." She stood up. "See? I'm not sitting on-..." Undyne was, in fact, sitting on my best dress. "Oh..."

"Undyne!!"

"Sorry, punk, but you seriously need to calm down. You've been going out with the skelebro for ages!" Undyne tried to push some sense through to my head. It wasn't very effective.

"But this is a date! An actual date we both agreed would be a date..."

"It's still just Sans, bestie. The same one you've been seeing for ages. He's seen you when you fell to the Underground, in your torn sweater and all and he still wants to be with you." It was slightly effective.

"I know, but-..." I tried to say.

"That's it!" Undyne nyaaad and started tickling me. It was super effective.

"Stooop! Stop, you'll ruin my hair! Hahahaha Undynee!" I screamed out, laughing like a freak.

"Frisk, honey, is everything okay up there?" I heard mum call from downstairs. We both calmed down and gave each other a guilty look.

"Your date arrived, are you ready, my child?" Toriel added.

"Just a minute!!" I called out. "Undyne give me that dress and help me get ready!"

We both started panicking now and trying to make me look, smell and feel nice. When I was ready, I opened my door and walked out. In the hallway, I hesitated and listened.

You hear them, don't you... Does that excuse of a stepmother ever giggle like that? Nono, only when trashbag jokes with her...

Stop that. It's not like that.

Oh isn't it? After that king traitor, she'd deserve better, right? And everybody even thought they were gonna get together. You know, all the jokes and giggles.

Have you ever heard of friends? That's a thing that exists. Intersex friendship is the best by the way. There is a lot of trust in that.

You and your trust. I wouldn't trust trashbag with my favorite pencil. If you wanna hear what I thing Soriel is almost as disgusting as you two together.

I almost laughed out loud. You use ship names? Adorable. That always makes them mad. I blocked them out so that they'd have to rage by themself.

"What are you waiting for, punk?" I almost jumped when Undyne put her hand on my shoulder.

"I- I... I don't know..." I stuttered out. Undyne shooed me to go already.

On my way downstairs I passed a tall mirror. I loved the dress. It was strapless, light blue like the sky in summer and had gentle white leaves around the top part going down to my waist and a bit lower in branches. The skirt ended just below my knees. If the dress was white, I'd wear it to a wedding. One of the monsters sew it for me as a gift for breaking the barrier.

Fall was around the corner, so I wore a white long sleeved crop sweater over it with the buttons open. My hair, still naturally brown, was now falling down to my shoulders. I added a silver flowery headdress and that was it for the jewelry.

Even I knew I looked good. I have been saving up this outfit for ages.

When I stepped down from the stairs, I saw mum and Sans smirking at each other. Both their expressions changed when they saw me - Tori started almost tearing up and Sans had a very serious face... and his mouth was slightly open.
