This internship is not the move. I mean the money good. Well actually great but it's keeping me from my music.
I just don't have the heart to tell my parents I want to do music. They'll ruin the whole dream for me.
"Chase, do you want to watch the carotid endarterectomy" Dr. James ask
That's a two hour surgery that I'm not interested in but I know it looks bad if I say no. I'm already the youngest person in this program and I'm only here because of my father.
"Of course" I smile
"Great! My patient will be in the operation room in about fifteen minutes so maybe get you a snack" I nodded and walked off
Residents were looking at me as soon as I walked into the Cafeteria. "Jailbait" you'll think because they are doctors they'll me a little mature. Not the case. The boys took a liking to me and the girls think I'm screwing somebody and that's how I ended up in this predicament.
I walked to the table and just grabbed an apple. They were all looking at me. I sat at the table and they immediately stopped talking. "Why do you insist on sitting here if you know we don't like you"
"Y'all don't like me because I didn't have to do the things y'all had to do to get here. That's not my problem. Also this is the table I suppose to sit at, so if you don't want to be around me go to a different table and face that write up" I shrug biting into my apple
I'm so done with getting treated rudely and I haven't done anything to anybody. Therefore starting today I'll treat others exactly how they treat me.
I ate my apple and half a bottle of water and went to the bathroom.
Ray: lunch?
I decided not to respond to her. I don't have time for Ray anymore. All she want to do is tug and pull me. It's draining and I just don't have it in me anymore.

I was in school. Currently in the library writing papers for scholarships. Yeah I get a full ride because I'm valedictorian but free money is free money.
I had my AirPods in nodding my head to my album. I will listen and keep listening to it just to make sure I am 100% in love with it.
A librarian slid me a paper and I picked it up. I guess the counselor wants me.
I gathered my things and put them in my bag and walked out. I signed out and then walked towards the counselors office.
I walked in "Hello" I smile as she scanned my badge.
