Chase Pov

My parents had just left me. It hadn't hit me that I was now a college student.

My mother had already unpacked my clothes and put my decorations up. Although my roommate emailed me before move in date I still don't know her. I didn't respond to the email because I just saw it like two days ago.

The thing is I don't if she's in her room or not. My mom claimed to have heard a noise but I didn't and when I knocked nobody answered but I can't open her door because I don't have a key.

Logan cried today when she was seeing me off. I've never just saw Logan cry so that touched me. My parents prayed a million and one times before they left. Rashad wanted to come but it's not time for him to meet my parents but he did get me some cute little uggs.

Jonathan was a little upset with me moving states but like I told him. Music is not a guaranteed career. Plus my album still hasn't dropped. A lot of people have been asking about it on Instagram. I didn't even know I had all these supporters.

I finish setting my bathroom up. We have our own bathroom and room. I know my roommate has to come from money or she's a scholarship kid just like me.

I called Ray back and she answered almost immediately. "I made it"

"Let me see it" I flipped the camera and gave her a little tour "so when the first sleepover" I flipped the camera back around

"Never" I say

"I got you a gift" Ray say "so send me the address"

"I don't even trust that" I say

"If I wanted to pop up then baby I'll google the shit" Ray say

"Get on that plane and catch that virus" I say

"For Chase baby I'll catch a body if I need to" Ray smile

"Girl bye" I laugh "don't bring it to me"

"These flights cheap as fuck" Ray say

"Everybody cancelling their flights. The airlines trying to get any money as possible" I say

"I think that virus fake as fuck" Ray say

"I don't think so" I say making Ray laugh "people been dying and getting sick"

"We had to take precautions. Nobody can move in without getting checked" Ray say

"We didn't get checked" I say "I don't think they cared that much"

"Type shit. So what you gone do about music" Ray ask

"Well Rashad and Jonathan are going to look for a studio for me to use in the area" I say

"That's good" this last little month Ray has accepted the fact that I have moved on. She still flirts but she did that before we dated. "Cause I was walking back to my dorm and I heard somebody play the song you wrote about me"

"Girl that song is not about you" I say

"They both about me! Stop capping and let me know" Ray smile looking at the camera

"If you know they about you then why do I need to say it" I ask

"I just need clarity" Ray say

"Yeah the songs are about you" I say making her dance "those are sad songs so I don't know why you celebrating"

"People make songs about people they love" why was I blushing?

"I never denied the love I have for you" I say
