Chase Pov

November came too fast. I was on my way home for the Thanksgiving break. I'm really excited about it. I miss everybody.

I pulled into the driveway very slowly. It's Saturday night and I'm so tired. This was going to be a long week.

Tomorrow morning my father will baptize me again. Although I was thinking about doing it I changed my mind. This is strictly for his sanity.

Then I have a show.... on Friday. It's nothing too big but it's something so I won't be a wash up.

I unlocked the door and everyone was sleeping. This is the reason I left so late. I didn't want to be bothered.

I got up and showered. I put on a nice black dress, grey leather jacket, and my grey boots. I finally took the sew in out my head so I just had my real hair in a low ponytail.

I made sure all my hygiene was good and made my way downstairs.

"Chase" Ramon say making me smile

I picked him up and kissed him all over his face. "I missed you so much"

"You don't be calling me" Ramon say

I had to laugh "I be busy"

"Papa said you go in the pool today" Ramon say

Papa? I mean I guess.

"I am" I say

"Okay you've had my ladybug for too long" Daddy say hugging me "I miss you so much babygurl"

"I miss you too" I say hugging my daddy. I didn't want to let him go. It's like when I'm in my daddy's arm nobody can bother me. Nothing hurts.

I finally let my father go and hugged my mom.

We went to church and my daddy got to preaching. I felt a little weird. Almost everyone knew what happened to me and I felt like all eyes were on me.

I got to the pulpit and daddy started blessing me and I looked around. Ray, Logan, Kham, Chance, and even Gabby. 

Tears started and that's when he dunk me.

"Mommy I don't like corn" I say

"Since when" my daddy ask walking out

"I don't know" I shrug

"Chase I didn't know you lived like this" Gabby say

I invited them all over to just catch up. Well honestly I didn't want to get cornered and questioned that's why I wanted everyone here.

"Yeah" I say

"So, y'all together" Gabby ask looking between Ray and I

I usually don't get in people's business but everyone seem to always have something to say about me

"Why? Do you want her" I raise my eyebrow

"Oh nah! I'm just making conversation" Gabby say

"No" I say

I walked to the kitchen and made me a plate. They already ate but I was starving. I've been missing home cooked meals.

I got my plate and went back to the living room. I sat next to Ray, my original spot. "Are y'all hot"

I was getting aggravated and nobody was talking and it just made me feel weird and hot.

"It feels good" Logan say and everyone else agreed
