Excuse Me?

Chase Pov

For the past two days I've been sick to my stomach. My mother was fianlly taking me to the hospital and I couldn't be more thankful.

We got to the hospital and she filled my paperwork out. "I have a question" I look at her when she checked not married

"Yes" my mother ask

If I would have been an adult and came by myself then I wouldn't be asking this.

"If you put not married and you actually married, what can happen" I ask

"I think it plays a major role in fraud" my mother shrug "I'm not too sure"

"Well maybe you should check married" I mumble "don't want to go to prision"

"Excuse me" My mother ask

"Ray and I got married" I say a little louder

"What did you say" my mother ask moving closer to me

My mother has never laid hands on me but at this moment she was about to knock me out.

"We got hitched" I say

"Now, why in the hell would y'all do that" never heard my mother swear

"We were drunk" I say

"The devil is a lie! I need a doctor and I need a doctor now" yeah I was getting an earful when we get in this car

We sat for about thirty more minutes. In complete silence. I wasn't going to taunt her.

"Stomach pain. Are you throwing up" the woman ask checking my breathing

"No and it's not poop" I say

"You don't have a fever. When does it usually hurt" the doctor ask

"Um. It hurts out of the blue. Its like a tight pain" I say

"Are you sexually active" my mother looked up at that question

I shook my head no. "No" she looked back down turning the pages of the magazine with anger. I grabbed the doctors arm and shook my head yes making her nod.

I had to pee in a cup and she drew my blood. I even got an ultrasound and I knew I wasn't pregnant.

She walked back into the room "pregnancy test was negative, no STDs, and no physical problems"

Something was wrong with me though. I wasn't making this up.

My mother wasted no time getting out of that doctor's office. She sped home and I knew she was going to tell my daddy.

We got home and my mother was walking extra fast to the door while I dragged my feet "should've been walking like that to that alter"

Excuse me? She has all the jokes today.

We got in the house and my mother immediately started screaming for my father "John" and he came running because she was yelling like someone was killing us

"What has you so wild up" my father ask making her smile

"Chase" she looked at me to explain but I wasn't opening my mouth

"What is it Ladybug" tears started falling from my face

"She's married! Her and Ray got drunk and decided to get married" I'm sure it's something in the Bible about not minding your business

"Ladybug" my father was looking at me like he wanted it to be a lie. Honestly I wish it was

"Daddy we were drunk" I say and he walked upstairs
