Chase POV

Ray blocked me. She doesn't communicate with me. I thought that's what I wanted but I don't really like it.

She mailed Ramon a little phone and she calls him on that. I guess she's really over me.

Rashad and I have been getting super close. He's the perfect gentleman. Even Kobe been showing his face every once in a while. I'm taking Rashad more serious because Kobe pushing Ray at that game months back still gives me an uneasy feeling. She's still a girl and she's bigger than me so if that little push knocked her down no telling what he'll do to me.

Today I was riding around with my mother. I honestly regretted this decision because she was taking me all over the city.

We already went to shop for them big ugly church hats. Personally I would never wear them! Then we went to Party City and we been going between here and the venue. Apparently the church is 30 years old and we celebrating it.

I'm glad she brought it to my attention because I would not have showed up and my parents would've been pissed.

"Chase go and pick the cake up" my mama say

"From where" I ask

"The cake lady. The one that made your cake" My mama say

"I'm going to miss the whole front half of the party I have to go way over there" I say

"Well get my bank card out the car. I'll send Earl" my mama say

"No. Daddy done told you about sending everybody off with your card" I say

"Well hell Chase, what do you want me to do" my mama ask

"Don't cuss in the church" I tease "and I'll go get it after I go home and change"

"Well, why am I still looking at you" I had to bring my neck back because I'm doing her a favor

"You haven't gave me your keys" I say

She gave me her keys and I wasted no time grabbing them and going to the car. Poor Ramon. He has to be with the old people.

I got home and my stomach felt uneasy. It's been doing this for a while now. The doctor say it's nothing but hopefully it goes away.

I got in the shower for about thirty minutes. Once I was out I started to lotion my body.

I was not going to wear heels. My mom bought this really ugly dress for me and I was not going to wear it. Who still wears big puffy dresses with flowers?

I put on some black slacks, my YSL flats, and a pink button down. I let me weave hang down but I went over it with the flatirons.

I grabbed my purse before my mama was calling my phone "yes dear"

"Chase you've been gone for an hour and a half" my mama say

"I had to come home and shower" I say

"You already have your Lord and Savior in your heart so, what were you looking for" my mama ask
