Chase POV

"Who is this bitch that keep looking at me" Logan ask

"I'm not sure" I fix Chance headphones while I watched the game "She's distracted" I placed Chance in Logan's arm before getting up

"Where are you going" Logan ask

"I be right back" I say and started walking down the bleachers

I went around and went to the girls basketball team "some manager you are" one of the coaches say

"I didn't have the time I thought I had" I shrug

"Why are you over here? I can get you suspended" The coach continue

"I'm waiting on the next time out" I say "Ray is off her game and I need to fix it"

I sat and waited. When it was a timeout I didn't hesitate to pull her to the side "what's wrong"

"No, what's wrong with you" I ask "your scouts are here"

"I'm doing bad" Ray ask

"You missed a layup" I say

"It's my mom" Ray say "she called me"

"And said what" I'm about ready to fight that woman

"She wants Ramon" Ray say "she not finna fuck his life up. I'll kill that hoe"

"Okay baby. We're going to work that out but I need you to win this game so you can have the future you've been working hard for" I say "please baby"

She smiled and walked back to her team.

I got back to the stands and grabbed Chance and took a seat. "where her brother"

"He's sick" I say

"Hey y'all" Gabby approach us

"Hey Gabby" I say and Logan gave her a head nod

"Y'all going to prom" Gabby ask

"Yeah we are" I say "how about you"

"Yeah. Aw he's so cute" Gabby say

"Gone about yo business man" Logan say "I got my fighting shoes on"

"Logan don't say that" I say

Gabby snickered and walked off "yeah Imma rock her shit"

"I thought the problem was solved" I say making Logan look at me

"The problem solved? Why the fuck do you talk like that? Ain't no pressure behind that girl but she not about to approach me while I have my son" Logan say "I'm quick on my feet but I may have lost it"

"Now everybody know you haven't lost anything" I say making her laugh "plus I don't think Gabby would harm a baby"

"Her and her friends stomped me while I was pregnant" Logan say

"The doctor said they might not have happened" I say "I'm not defending her but you never know"

"Oh I know you not defending her. That's not a side you want to be on" I wasn't going to argue with Logan so I just let her have the conversation because I was not defending Gabby "because I love you too much so if you go on her side imma have to bully you"

"Wow Logan" I say making her shrug

We sat and watched the game. Ray was going so hard I was proud. I couldn't yell how I wanted because Chance was here. Even though he had his headphones on it's just something about kids that calm me down.
