Chase Pov

I was back at school sadly. I like the school thing but not so much being away from my family and friends. I made a few friends but they are all stuck up. I'm a little known around here for my music so I tried to make genuine friends but that's always hard.

"Chase maybe you should go running with us" Sarah say making me raise my eyebrow. I don't like running and that's why I quit track and plus it's cold outside "your getting a little chubby"

I've noticed the weight gain but it wasn't enough for others to see. I mean maybe they could see it but we weren't that close for them to be pointing it out.

"Have you ever took in consideration that maybe I'm actually trying to gain weight" I ask

"That's a pretty bold move" Sarah say making me shrug and sit back

"My bold move to make" I say

My roommate Keri walked in and smiled. She shows her face every once in a while. She's pregnant and she hides to keep people from finding out. That way she can keep her scholarship. Keri couldn't be here without a scholarship so I understand.

"Oh you have company" Keri look at Sarah

"Are you pregnant" Sarah ask

Keri looked nervous so I opened my mouth "wow Sarah. She's been battling with her weight and for you to say something like that is very rude"

Sarah is on a whole new level of snotty. I would never make a comment about someone's weight.

"I'm sorry" Sarah say

"I think you should leave" Sarah's face showed she was a little pissed off but she gathered her things and left out

"Keri you don't have to be scared" being a Christian is hard work because that's a lie. She should be so scared it's not even funny "I got your back". I had no power but I just felt like that was the right thing to say.

"Are you doing homework" Keri ask sitting at my desk chair. I didn't mind I was in my bed and plus I felt like it was unhealthy for her to lock herself up in her bedroom like that.

"Yeah" I say "but I'm almost finished"

"This baby has got to evaluate the building" Keri is a little taller than me. She's about 5'6-5'7 and she's here on an academic scholarship. Some of the guidelines other than maintaining a 3.5 GPA you can't be pregnant. I don't think she's going to be able to hide it for too much longer because she's almost five months and the weight is noticeable. She's a mixed breed. I believe black and white but I'm not too sure. She has big curly hair and her tips are red. I wish my really hair got that big and curly because it's so beautiful. She has a few freckles around her nose and nice pouty lips. Beautiful.

"What happened" I laugh

"All I want to do is sleep" Keri say

"I don't think it's the baby. I think it's college because that's all I want to do" I say "until you really just look pregnant tell people it's freshman fifteen because I definitely got it"

I'm sure it'll be easy for me to knock this weight off but I don't really see the rush. It's November and it's only going to get colder from here. I mean I am an entertainer so I should keep a cute shape.

"Do you know the lady at the front desk was not trying to let me get my book package" Keri say "bitch talking about I haven't been to class and all this shit"

"You need to drop that chemistry class" I tell her

I remember talking to Logan about the same exact thing. Chemistry Lab is not for pregnant people. The chemicals aren't too harsh because it's beginner but still.
