Amy's cheeks heaten as she stares up at Shadow. She coughs to clear her voice from croaking, "Y...yeah! It's me again." She laughs nervously. Just being near him she'd feel butterflies in her stomach. Shadow sighs and puts his hands in his pants pockets. "Erm, Amy right?" She answers with a nod. "Listen, I know you are friends with Cream and..." He pauses to look to the side. "Sorry if it seems that she's gone." He says quickly. Amy makes a confused look before she remembers about Creams 'disappearance'. She gives a warm smile, making seem as if she's sad. "N-no, it's fine Shadow. I'm sure she's just...It doesn't matter." Amy knows she has to be convincing. No matter how much she wants to laugh. Happy that she killed someone in the way of her and Shadow. He places his right hand onto her shoulder. Amy's becomes more flustered and shudders from his cold touch. "I understand. I know what it's like to lose someone close to you." Shadow says, before walking out of the classroom. Pulling his hand away from Amy. She grabs the shoulder he touched and grins. 'He...He touched me.' She skips over to her desk and sits down. Glancing to the side to see Creams empty seat. Amy stares at the table for a while, until she hears a worried voice. "She still isn't here?" The pink hedgehog shakes her head and looks forward, to see Tails. Turning in his seat to look behind him. "Um... yeah it's rather odd." She says with some fake worry. Tails frowns, "You're right. It's been 2 days since any of us have heard from her." Their conversation was interrupted by the teacher. "Alright class! Today we're going to learn about Shakespeare." The students sit down and get ready for the lesson.

~~~After School~~~
Knuckles and Tikal were at the fountain, with Amy hiding behind a tree. Knuckles was complimenting Tikal, calling her cute. She blushes and thanks him, complimenting him back. Luckily Knuckles didn't need much of Amy's help, but he told her to still come in case he messes up. So far he hasn't. "Wow Knuckles. I never thought you like Tori Kelly too!" Tikal grins brightly. "Yeah I think she has an amazing singing voice." "Which song do you like from her?" Tikal asks. Knuckles was silent waiting for Amy to tell him a song. "Say All in my head." Amy demands. "A-all in my head." Tikal gasps. "Really? Me too! I love that song too. Her emotion in that song is beautiful." Knuckles smiles. The date has gotten a lot better than before. Tikal would blush when they have something in common, showing she's liking him more and more. "Yeah the song is so sad it makes me cry sometimes. Even though I can't help but constantly listen to it." Amy takes out her phone, bored from playing cupid for these two. She has someone more important than the two Echidnas. She checks the time to see it's 5 PM. It was time for her to leave. "Knuckles, I need to go now. Will you be fine on your own?" She peeks over the tree. Tikal was reaching into her bag for something. Knuckles looks over to Amy and quickly nods, before Tikal looks up at him and hands hims a book. "Also Knuckie, I got you something." She says. Amy carefully sneaks by hiding behind the bushes. Luckily, she managed to leave without being noticed. Tikal did hear the bushes shake but ignores it. Thinking it was just her imagination. Once Amy reaches the gate, she begins to run home.
~~~15 minuets later~~~

Amy opens her front door and enters the house. Closing it behind her. She jogs into the living room, to view three suitcases. One was still open, it had some clothes inside and some other items what belonged to her mother. The others were shut and zipped up. Amy looks away from the cases to see her mother. Who ran into the room, holding a bunch of folded clothing. She stops once she notices her daughter. Having a confused look on her face, "What's all this mom?" She asks, glancing over to the suitcases. The white hedgehog laughs, "Your father didn't text you? We're going on holiday!" She says, putting the folded clothes into the open suitcase. Then closes it. Amy's eyes widen, "O-on holiday?! B-but..." She begins to think of an excuse. She couldn't leave, at least... Not without Shadow. Her father comes through the door that her mother did. "What about school?" Amy asks. Her father smiles and walks up to her, "Don't worry sweetie! It's only me and your mother going. You'll have the whole house to yourself for 6 weeks." Amy sighs in relief. Her mother zips up the suitcase and pulls the handle up. "Ok then." Amy says. "Mrs Rabbit will check on you once a week though. You ok with that?" Her mother asks, now at her father's right side. Amy nods with a faint smile. "Yep!" Her father nods to then gaze at his wife. "Honey I believe the passports are upstairs. You wouldn't mind getting them will you?" "Oh I don't." Before she leaves, she plants a kiss on her daughter's forehead. Then walks up the stairs.

Amy gives a blank stare to her father, already knowing he just wanted them to be alone. He grins, "Well, how's your senpai? You're keeping him safe?" She just nods. "Good." "Honestly, why are you leaving? I know it isn't only for some holiday." Amy says. Her father sighs, grabbing the two suitcases in each hand. He back was facing Amy, "Someone... is on to me. I have to stop them. I'm not losing Olivia and you." Her eyes dart to the side for second before they go back to her father. "Ok dad... I understand. Just, don't get caught." Amy says blankly. He looks back to smile at Amy, "Good sweetie." Just as he finishes his sentence. Amy's mother jogs down the stairs. Two passports were in her left hand. "I got them!" She grabs the third case and goes up to her daughter. Kissing her once more on the forehead, "Love you sweetie. Be careful on your own." "Love you too mum. Bye." Amy says watching the two leave. Amy and her father share a glance at each other. For her to remember his words: I'm not losing Olivia and you. Those words are stuck in her head. Reminding her of Shadow. She's not losing him. Not like Sonic. They close the door on their way out. Amy sighs and walks up into her room, to change her shrine and do some more work on it.
