A Talk With Mephiles

Amy closes the front door behind her, now she was back inside her lonely home. It's gotten alot more quiet since her parents left. Everytime she'd come home it was always her mother greeting her. With a big hug and a huge smile. Amy honestly misses those hugs. Those hugs of comfort. Amy steps into the kitchen, thowing her bag onto the counter. Before opening her fridge to take out a salad, which she had prepared earlier in the morning. Going back to the counter to sit down and eat. The pink hedgehog begins to ponder about Mephiles as she eats: why does he want to help her? Would he snitch on her? It's a big risk for her. She hears the back door open, Amy's head turns to see the female rabbit. "Hi Vanilla." The pink hedgehog smiles. Vanilla was holding fours full bags; 2 Tesco bags on her right and 2 Asda bags on her left. Vannilla smiles back, "Hi sweetie! Got us some groceries." Amy stands up to help the adult. By taking one bag from each arm; both were surprisingly heavy. She places the bags onto a counter beside the fridge, "Thanks Amy." Vanilla places the other bags onto the floor. Huffing in exhaustion, "Gosh! I've only been shopping for 2 hours and I already want to go to bed." Amy begins to take out the products from the bag. Placing some in the fridge and others on the counter. "2 hours? Why did it take you so long to have only 4 bags?" "These bags are for you, I have like 5 more in the car." Vanilla explains, opening the other bags and does the same as Amy.

After sometime, they put away the groceries and spent some time talking together. Amy does enjoy talking with Vanilla; it was relaxing to talk with a woman who she knows won't go after her Shadow. Vanilla made them some tea, both cups were already half empty in 5 minuets. During their conversation the rabbit decides to leave, since she has more shopping to unpack for herself. Amy waves goodbye to her as she leaves through the back door. Once Vanilla leaves Amy ponders on what she could do for the rest of the day. 'Maybe I should talk with Mephiles. After all, he wants to get involved for some reason. I know I can't fully trust him but...there must be some explanation why he wants to help me.' Amy mind was spinning, it's very odd that Mephiles wants to help her NOW. Even though he witnessed her killing Cream a week ago! Amy walks upstairs and into her bedroom. Taking her phone out from her skirt pocket, throwing it onto her comfy bed. So she can change from her school uniform to some pajamas: a white top, some blue shorts and white fluffy slippers. The pink hedgehog jumps on top of her beds pink covers, grabbing her phone as it was in the air (Due to her jump). Looking through her contacts, she finds the hedgehog's number and begins to call him. As she pulls the phone against her ear, Amy hears two rings before the call was answered. "Hello Amy." A deep vocie answers. Amy sighs, leaning her back towards the pillows. 

"Hey Mephiles. Now I want to know why do you want to help me?" She needs to know; Amy can't trust a guy who'll help her just for no reason. Could he just be 'helping' her so he can get enough evidence to have Amy arrested? She dosn't trust him one bit. "I'll tell you but... you have to tell me why you murder." Amy gulps. "W-why do you want to know so bad?!" The pink hedgehog questions with an irritated tone. "I'm curious that's all; a good student such as yourself is now a murder? It is rather strange." Amy doubts answering him, but then again... she'll never know why he's offering to aid her. "Fine then, I will tell you why. To cut a long story short: Sonic rejected my love, I tried to run after him but I bumped into Shadow, he helped me realize he was my true senpai and I promised myself to never lose him. I'll do anything to make him mine. ANYTHING." Amy explains, taking small glances to her senpai shrine. Which was in her closet (That's open obviously). It isn't as big as she wishes it to be: there was only a couple of pictures of Shadow, the half eaten apple and a pen he chewed on in English class. Hopefully she can get more for her shrine. Amy hears a chuckle, "That isn't too surprising, I've seen how you used to act with that blue hedgehog. Now I'll answer you; I'm helping you because I enjoy murder, blood, manipulation, the WHOLE thing! Plus I think it'll be fun for both of us to be partners in crime." Amy lets out a small giggle from the thought. Mephiles and Amy Rose, the schools partners in crime. It sounds hilarious. "Wow. Well if you want to help me then you can. Tomorrow, I'll need some help with a plan I have. Meet me near the councellor's office then I'll tell you what to do. It's going to be easy for you." Amy explains. She may not trust him but he is right; she'll need some help to get rid of that fox. But she must be on guard around Mephiles. "Alright then. We'll talk tomorrow." He says before ending the call.

Amy lays down, her arms outstretched. Looking like a starfish on her bed. Wondering what else could she do for the day: Homework, an early dinner or... Shadow! She needs to know about their date; Shadow didn't say when or where they will go. Amy goes back onto her phone, sitting back up. She quickly finds Shadow on her phone and begins to call him. It took 5 rings before there was an answer, "Hey." His voice was low and quiet. "H-hi, are you ok?" Amy asks, his voice indicates that Shadow was upset or irritated. This worries her. "Yeah I'm fine. Just had a family arguement that's all." She doubts it was just an agruement. Her poor Shadow. He needs her as much as she needs him. "O-ok then. I was just wondering i-if you knew where we'll have our date?" Amy stutters, throwing her legs over the side of her bed. Standing up to then walk over to her wardrobe, "Oh yeah.. well we can go out to eat. I heard about that new cafe opening on Saturday." She smiles, just thinking about the date makes her go red. "I'd love that! Shall we say, 10:30 in the morning?" Amy questions, gazing down at a picture of Shadow. It was of him leaning against the school wall, drinking a bottle of beer. "Yeah I'm down for that; in front of the cafe at half past 10 is where we'll meet. See you on Saturday." Shadow says quickly before ending the call. Amy mentally notes the time and area; oh she can't wait!
