"Hey, how you holding up Shadow?" Fiona asks, raising an eyebrow. Shadow has been quiet since Silver's death... Actually he has been WAY MORE quiet than before. He won't talk: drink, smoke or even look up at anyone. Shadow mostly answers with grunts now. This affected him a lot, along with some other students. Especially Blaze. Most felt awful about the poor student's death, but managed to over it in a week. Unlike Shadow; he really cared for Silver. He was mostly sympathetic to the hedgehog. He was like an annoying little brother that you couldn't hate. Silver was always there for him when he needed help. Shadow just wishes he could go back and act more nicer to him. "I'm fine." He answers bluntly, avoiding her gaze. Fiona squints down at him. "The guys and me are going to skip; wanna join?" Shadow notices a purple figure down the path. He knew who it was straight away. "No, but thanks for the offer." Shadow stands up, making his way to the cat. Fiona sighs and goes the opposite direction of Shadow. The figure had their back facing Shadow, "Hey Blaze."

The purple cat turns, her eyes had a glint of fear. Before she realized it was Shadow. Blaze had black under eyes, indicating she hasn't slept for a day. "Oh.. Hey Shadow." The hedgehog just nods, putting his hands into his pants pockets. "Hey. Look Blaze, I know this week has been tough. If you want, we can hang out for awhile?" Shadow offers, taking a small step toward her. Blaze looks down, pondering on her answer. "I guess.. we can hang out. Just-" She pauses in confusion. She couldn't bother anymore; Blaze can't take it anymore. She just wants to go home and cry. "-I'm sorry, I can't handle this!" Tears begin to form in the corner of her eyes. She was going to break. Shadow rush to her side, throwing his arm around her. Pulling her against him. "I know, I know Blaze." He let her cry onto his shoulder; all they could hear was her whimpering. They let this moment last, until the school bell rung. Blaze manages to calm herself, "S-Shadow? Can we go somewhere?" Shadow slightly moves, so he could properly face the shorter cat. "Somewhere?" He questions, for her to nod. Shadow removes his arm off of her. "Yeah. Somewhere other than school. I just want to be somewhere to relax and think." Shadow understood the reason why. He knows his dad won't be at home for the rest of the day. Perhaps they can stay there for the day.

"We can go to my place; my dad won't be there for the whole day. We can do whatever you want to." Shadow offers, with an reassuring smile. Blaze takes a moment before answering, "S-sure. Thank you Shadow, I appreciate your kindness." She says, as they begin to walk to the front gates. Using the gated door by the side. "No problem. I understand what you're going through." Shadow mutters, reaching to hold her hand. Which Blaze accepts. Now both walk away from the school hand-in-hand. Not knowing that a pink hedgehog was watching them through her classroom window.
