The 7th Rival

Another Friday, another day of school. Shadow had to go to the forsaken building. His dad had the day off; no way in hell is he staying in the same house as him. Especially with the bastard drinks himself to death. Fiona offered to skip 3rd period with him; so of course he joined her. He can go somewhere to think of stuff. Other than his terrible friends deaths. Fiona was sitting on top of the school's fence. Whilst Shadow leans against it. "Hey Shads... I need a favor." Fiona says, breaking the silence. Shadow gazes at his friend questionably, "What is this favor?" "I want you to flirt with me" This immediately makes Shadows eyes widen. In complete shock. "What?!! Why in the hell!-" "So Scourge will get jealous!" Fiona interrupts. Now it makes a little bit of sense. "Then why do you want him jealous? Can't you ask Jet to do this petty stuff?" Fiona pouts at Shadow. This situation wasn't considered petty to her. Scourge's and her relationship has gotten strained lately. It seems Scourge has drifted apart from her. She worries that he found a new bird to fuck. "To answer your 1st question; it's because I want to make sure he still loves me. Then for your 2nd question; No because that's WAY to obvious I want him jealous. I want him to think I actually like you." She jumps off the fence, to go in front of Shadow. Grabbing his shoulders, "Please do this for me. I can pay you if that's what it takes." Shadow ponders on this for a moment. He does need the money, but was this worth it? Amy might see them acting like they 'love' each other. Ah fuck it. He can explain it to her later. "I want £50." "Deal."

Students stared at the two in confusion; Fiona had her arm linked with Shadow's. Staring up at him dreamily. Shadow was just blanked face, trying to ignore everyone's looks. Thank god Amy wasn't there. Luckily he knew she had something going on after school; so she was already at home.The two walk down the hall, mainly searching for Scourge. Shadow just wanted to hurry and get this over with then get his money. Fiona eyes dart to her left, finally seeing the green hedgehog. Who was beside her locker, as if he was waiting for her. She slightly nudges against Shadow. Catching his attention. "Over there." She whispers, for Shadow to only nod. As they get closer to the locker, Fiona begins to obnoxiously laugh. "Wow Shadow! Who ever knew that you'd be so funny!" She says, Shadow puts on a smile. Trying to make it as genuine as possible. Scourge turns from hearing Fiona; viewing her and Shadow holding each other. "What the-" Scourge's left eye twitches. Utterly angry and confused by the scenery. How come Fiona was suddenly attracted to Shadow?

"Hey Scourge." Shadow greets nonchalantly. If scourge had enough confidence, he would just punch Shadow right then and there. He come he'd just take his girl like this? Fiona smirks, watching as Scourge becomes red with jealousy. "W--what the hell is wrong with you man?" He takes two steps towards Shadow (Who doesn't flinch). Scourge points his index finger up to Shadow's face. "That's my fucking girlfriend!! If you don't back off you'll-" Fiona quickly lets go of Shadow. "So you do care!" She smirks, thankful that he still cares. Shadow sighs in relief, raising his hand toward Fiona. "Thank god this is over. Now pay me." Fiona huffs, rumbling through her pants pocket. Giving him the money. Shadow just waves at the couple as he walks away.

Amy finishes off the rest of her homework. Between her 'protecting' Shadow and school work; she needs to focus more on her school work. How else will she get a job if she wasn't good at school. After all, she will be the one providing for Shadow and herself. As she finishes off the last question, the sound of her phone buzzing grabs her attention away. She gazes at her screen, to see Mephiles had texted her. 

(The bold and underlined is Mephiles texting, the words just underlined is Amy texting)
