Shadamy- You're MINE!

The 2nd Rival

Another day in Emerald high, Amy was staring at her beloved hedgehog. He was alone, sitting at the fountain. It was lunchtime but Shadow didn't seem to have food with him. He'd usually have only two sandwiches and a bottle of water for lunch. However, nothing was in to eat other than breakfast. This did worry Amy a little, seeing Shadow not eating. Hoping he isn't starving his self. Maybe she can make him some food for tomorrow. From his expression he seemed to be thinking of something, as he was looking up at the sky. Amy takes out her phone and takes a picture him, blushing from seeing him look so dreamy. Oh if only she had the courage to go over to him and confess to him right now. Staring at Shadow relaxing, a certain echidna comes into her view. She was standing beside Shadow, "Hello Shadow." He glances at the orange echidna and sighs. "Hey Tikal. What cha' want?" She gives him a confused look. "Don't you know?" Shadow raises an eyebrow. "Know what?" Tikal sits next to him, Holding her hands together on her lap. She seemed nervous, "Well, none of us heard Cream in a while and... We're all worried that she's been kidnapped or something worse." Tikal closes her eyes to hold in her tears. Shadow places his hand on her shoulder, she open her eyes to see Shadow smiling. His touch was warm and comforting, but for Amy it was something that triggered her possessiveness. He shouldn't be touching anyone but her! "I'm...I'm sorry to hear that but. It has only been a day. Surely she could just be sick or something." He says hoping it'll help her. Shadow isn't much of a comforting or caring guy. But he understands Tikal's worry. "But we asked her mom about her and she hasn't seen her either! She could be dead or-" Suddenly, Shadow pull her into a hug. This made something in Amy snap, she needs to get rid of Tikal. NOW. 

"Calm down Tikal. I understand you're scared for Cream, but she will be back. I'm sure of it." Shadow says, Amy's heart melts from his kindness. Tikal smiles and gently pulls away from the hug. "T-thank you Shadow. I'd never thought you can be so-" "Assuring?" The two laugh, even though Shadow never enjoyed being with Tikal. But he does see a part of his best friend in the echidna. It would warm his heart, being with someone who was similar to her. Tikal glances to the side and then makes an oh face. "Hang on, before I leave, I want to give you something." She reaches into her school bag and takes out a red apple. "You seem hungry. I was going to have this but it looks like you need it more." Shadow takes the apple, then smiles. "Thanks Tikal. Now can you leave me please?" He asks. Tikal nods and stands up, as she walks away she waves behind her. "Bye Shadow!" Leaving Shadow, who Amy continues to spy on. He takes a big bite out of the apple and soon smiles. The bell rings for class time, Shadow groans and takes three more bites. Then throws the half eaten fruit near the trash can. However he misses it and the apple lands on the grass. He leaves the courtyard to meet up with his friends. Amy watches him leave, so she can stop hiding behind the tree. Then walks over to the apple. Picking it up. Her Shadow took three bites out of the apple! Staring at the teeth marks, some drool begins to fall from her mouth. Amy puts the fruit into her bag, keeping it for her soon-to-be made shrine. Then makes her way to class, humming a love song.

~~~In The Classroom~~~

Tikal yawns as she writes down the answer on her sheet. Like all students, she is bored of the work they're given. The topic wasn't interesting, well, to her at least it wasn't. She looks up from the paper and turns her attention to the window. Staring out to the wonderful cherry blossom trees. Forming a smile. What she doesn't see is that a student was looking in her direction. He was only 3 seats from her left. Wondering if he can ever date the echidna, she was a very close friend to him and he couldn't help but develop a crush on her. "Knuckles! Are you paying attention?!" The teacher shouts, making him snap from his gaze on Tikal. He looks up at the teacher, "Y-yeah I am miss!" She raises an eyebrow, seeing right through his lie. "Sure you are." She says sarcastically. Then resumes with the lesson, leaving Knuckles off with a warning. Knuckles sighs and glances back to Tikal, she was now writing on the work sheet again. Knuckles gives a small grin, admiring her beauty.

~~~Later on~~~ 

Knuckles cracks his fingers, trying to calm down his nerves. He was hiding behind a bush which was a few seconds away from the gardening club. Where Tikal was, planting some flowers with another member of the club. He looks over the bush to see Tikal smiling, Knuckles sighs dreamily. His cheeks going red from that smile. Finding her cute. "Hey Knuckles!" He jumps and turns around to see Amy. Knuckles gives her a nasty glare, annoyed that she scared him. "Jesus Christ Amy! Don't walk up on me like that." He growls, standing up. "Sorry then. Anyway, I've noticed you seem stressed about something. Is there anything I can help you with?" Amy questions. Originally, she was going to have a chat with Tikal, however she noticed Knuckles watching the echidna. Already guessing that he has a crush on her. This could work to her advantage. she could plan having them become a couple. The two already know each other and Knuckles has a crush on Tikal. "W...well, can you give these to Tikal?" He stretches his arm forward, holding a bundle of flowers. The flowers were from the bush. Amy takes the flowers, "Sure! Also, if you want, I can help you win her heart." She winks, walking away before Knuckles could say anything else. This could be a easy way to get rid of Tikal: Have her fall in love with another!

Amy goes to Tikal, who was crouching beside her now planted flower. "Tikal." She looks up from her plant and smiles. "Oh hello Amy! Why do you have those daisy's?" She says sweetly. Amy hands her the daisy's, "They're from your secret admirer." Amy winks, putting her index finger up against her lips. Tikal blushes slightly, "A secret admirer?" Amy nods. "He just wanted me too give you this. See ya later!" She jogs away from Tikal and back to Knuckles. She already has an idea on how to make them be together. It's simple: Find out Tikal's likes and dislikes, get a headset and earpiece to tell Knuckles what to say on their date and find the place for the date. So then at the end of the week they'll become a couple. Knuckles looks at Amy, worried if Tikal liked the daisy's or not. "Did she like them Am-" Amy interrupts him. "She does. Now, I have a plan to get her to love you." "R-really? What is it?" Amy leans closer to his ear and whispers her plan. Knuckles grins, "Ok, let's do it!"
