"What would a couple do to save their relationship?"

"You mean, to what extent does they need to do?"

"Yeah, I mean, does going to marriage counseling really help a couple save their relationship?"

"Does marriage counseling help a let's say, a 20-year-old or a 30-year-old bond that is falling apart?"

"Meryl, what do you think?You're married for almost two decades."A woman uttered to her girlfriend who's mind is not with them..

"Merl?Meryl?"Another woman called for her as she snap her fingers in front of her face.

"Uh...what?"She asks the moment she is snapped out off her thoughts.

"Are you still with us?"Her girlfriend asked.

"Yeah, of course. I was just thinking about something, I'm sorry."She answered softly.

"Can you guys excuse me for a minute?I need to go to the bathroom."She uttered before her girlfriends can talk and her girlfriends just nodded with a smile.

Meryl Streep is currently with her girlfriends Cher and Christine Baranski, catching up for they rarely see each other. Meryl also knows that deep inside her she needed to be away her house for a while to forget some stuff temporarily.

"So, what did I miss earlier?"Meryl asked, coming back from her bathroom break.

"We were talking about how marriage counseling really helps a couple."Christine answered.

"I think it really depends on the couple, you know. Even if they go to marriage counseling like every week or every day, it still depends especially when only one of them is interested."Meryl said and heaved a deep sigh.

"Because I have friends that almost got a divorce but only some of them went through marriage counseling."Cher said and Meryl just nodded.

"How are the kids doing by the way?"Christine asked, drifting off to another topic.

"They are doing fine but raising two teenagers is not that easy."Meryl answered with a chortle.

"How about you and your mister?"Cher asked and Meryl replied a half smile.

"We're just fine. Tough but fine."She answered and she suddenly felt her phone vibrating in her bag. She grabbed it and there's an incoming call from her daughter.

"Excuse me, I need to answer this."Meryl said, turning away from Christine and Cher.

"Hey honey, what's wrong?"Meryl asked immediately.

"Daddy's home mommy and he is drunk. He is looking for you."Her daughter answered and Meryl can hear that her voice trembling.

"Wait, wait, is your brother home?"Meryl asked sternly.

"Yes mommy, he is trying to calm daddy down."She answered.

"Okay, mommy's on the way home. Just relax. I'll see you in half an hour."Meryl said and ended the call.

"I'm sorry ladies but I need to go home. The kids need me."Meryl said to her girlfriends, standing up.

"Why?What's wrong?"Christine asked in concern.

"They just really need me right now. I had a nice time. Take care you two. I'm really sorry."She answered as she kiss the two's cheeks and left.

Meryl's ride home is suppose to take her 30-45 minutes but since her children really needs her, he got to their house in less than half an hour. She rushed into her home after parking her car and started calling for her son and daughter.
