Kisses

Meryl is currently getting ready for work while her husband is with their almost 2-year-old son, watching his favorite cartoon.

"Mommy, whewe you going?"Her little boy, who is sitting on his father's lap whilst holding his sippy cup, asked.

"Mommy is just going to work for a while baby but mommy will be back."She answered.

"Awe you going to get my toys mommy?"He asked and Meryl looked at him.

"Ask daddy first if you are allowed to have a new toy."Meryl answered and Pierce's eyes went round.

"Daddy, can mommy buy me new toys?"Their son asked, looking at Pierce.

"But daddy already bought you new toys."Pierce answered and the little boy frowned.

"Onwy one daddy, pwease?"He asked and started doing his cute face.

"Benjamin, you already have toys. We will buy new toys next time."Pierce said and little Benjamin nodded.

"Okay daddy, sowwy."He said softly and Pierce kissed his head.

"Alright, I need to go."Meryl suddenly uttered, kissing Pierce on the lips and gently tapping her son's head.

Benjamin jumped out of bed all of a sudden and ran towards the door with his stuffed toy in his arm.

"No, mommy not going!"He yelled with his teeny tiny sweet voice.

"Why?What's wrong?"Meryl asked with forehead creased.

"Mommy not kiss Benjamin. Mommy not want to kiss Benjamin because my sistew is in youw tummy?"Benjamin asked, furious, and it made his parents laugh.

"Benjamin angwy."Benjamin said and Meryl slowly sat to be eye-level with her son.

"Mommy will tell you something, come here."Meryl said but Benjamin looked away.

"Okay, you're mad at mommy?I'm not going to kiss you anymore if you're mad."Meryl said and Benjamin whined whilst stomping his feet.

"Mommy not wove Benjamin anymowe!"Benjamin exclaimed and Meryl went to him to carry him.

"Who said that mommy don't love Benjamin anymore?"Meryl asked.

"Me, because mommy don't want to kiss Benjamin."Benjamin answered.

"Of course mommy loves you so much. Mommy just thought that Benjamin don't want kisses from mommy anymore because you are already a big boy."Meryl said and Benjamin hugged her neck.

"No, I want kisses fwom mommy."Benjamin whispered and Meryl kissed his cheek.

"And don't ever think that mommy doesn't want to give you kisses anymore just because your sister is already in my tummy."Meryl said again and Benjamin just nodded.

"Okay, mommy needs to go now, I'll be home early and we'll go to the park like mommy promised."Meryl said and she carefully drop Benjamin on the bed.

"Bye bye mommy, I wove you."Benjamin said softly and Meryl smiled.

"Mommy loves you more baby."Meryl replied and she kissed him on the lips before leaving.
