Distraction

Meryl is currently in the living room, in front of her computer, talking to her girlfriends for they are in quarantine and are not allowed to go out.

"So how's you and the hubby?"One of her girlfriends asked which is Christine Baranski and Meryl smiled.

"We're fine, he's been busy finishing his paintings for his exhibits and you know he also have lots of this conference calls. So he is either in his studio or in our room, in front of his computer with his papers."Meryl answered.

"Are you getting any though?"Another one of her girlfriends uttered which is Tracey Ullman and it made her eyes go round.

"Tracey!"Meryl yelled and they are all laughing.

"Meryl, we are all quarantined and can't go out. We are stuck inside the house for almost two weeks now. I mean, you must be getting so much."Christine said and Meryl shook her head.

"I told you, ever since this quarantine started, Pierce's been working from home so I'm just this loving housewife who serve him food, who cleans the house. And I'm also working on how to help the less fortunates, the hospitals."Meryl said and she saw them roll their eyeballs.

"Oh, my God, Meryl!So eversince this crisis started you are not getting any?"Tracey asked in disbelief.

"Well, it's already Thursday and of course I had two or three or four."Meryl said and her girlfriends gasped.

"Only four?"Another voice asked and it's Cher.

"God, that's a different crisis, right there."Christine uttered.

"What's wrong with that?"Meryl asked getting annoyed of her girlfriends.

"This is suppose to be an opportunity for you and your husband to you know, connect, because this is a rare moment that you two are together for a long time."Tracey explained.

"But what can I do?He have a company that he needs to run, and after all this is over, he have an upcoming exhibit."Meryl retorted.

"I think you should use your power as the wife now. You two are alone so you two can get it on where ever you want. His studio, the living room, and oh, at your balcony!"Christine said and all of them laughed.

"But seriously Meryl, you might have another kid after this quarantine time."Cher said and it made her laugh.

"I just plan on getting any but I am not planning on having a child."Meryl said, still laughing.

"Then distract him from his work. He have all the time in the world to do those things for Pete's sake."Tracey said and Meryl rolled her eyeballs.

"Hey babe."A voice suddenly uttered and it made her look up. It is Pierce who is from the kitchen and he is holding an apple.

"Hey, what you doi'n?"Pierce asked and he gave a peck on Meryl's lips.

"Just catching up with them."Meryl answered and Pierce sat beside her, biting his apple.

"Hi guys!"Pierce greeted.

"Hey, Pierce!"The girls greeted.

"Painting's done?"Meryl asked and he nodded with hum.

"Just taking a break before another conference call in ten minutes."Pierce answered and Meryl nodded.

"How you guys doing?"Pierce asked Meryl's girlfriends all of a sudden.

"We're doing good. Just home."Christine answered.

"Yeah, same."Tracey added.

"Home but still tryna help others."Cher answered and Pierce nodded.
