"Benjamin, sweetheart, lunch is almost ready!"Meryl suddenly yelled as she prepare her and her son's lunch.

"Mommy!"Her little boy came yelling as he run to where her mother is.

"Yes, sweetheart?"Meryl asked.

"Daddy uhmm uhmm cawwed mommy."The little boy answered and it made Meryl smile.

"What did daddy say?"Meryl asked as she prepare the table.

"Daddy said that he is not coming home water."He answered and Meryl's smile suddenly dropped into a frown.

"As usual."Meryl whispered to herself but she still managed to smile for her little boy.

"Is Bey Bey still sleeping?"Meryl asked all of a sudden, drifting off from their topic.

"Yes, mommy but a whiwe ago, she awmost cried mommy because her pacifier feww off her mouth."Benjamin answered with a giggle that made Meryl laugh, too.

"Okay, let's eat before your sister wakes up."Meryl said as she carry her son to his high chair.

"Mommy, when is daddy going home?"Benjamin asked in the middle of their meal.

"I don't know baby. Daddy is uhmm still working because mommy can't work yet because of Bey Bey."Meryl answered.

Ever since Meryl gave birth to their second child Beatrice, Pierce's been mostly out of the house to work for their family because they decided for Meryl to stop working until their daughter turns one. At first, Meryl was okay with the idea of Pierce is the only one working but she never knew that he would accept so many jobs to the point where he rarely stays in their house for so long.

"Mommy, can I sweep here?"Benjamin suddenly asked as he barge in his parents' room.

"Okay, baby. Daddy will not come home anyways."Meryl said and she helped Benjamin climb the bed.

"Mommy is my sister awready sweeping?"Benjamin asked and Meryl softly giggled.

"Yes, my love. Bey Bey is already sleeping."Meryl answered and Benjamin settled on top of her mother.

"I miss daddy, mommy."Benjamin whispered and Meryl kissed his head.

"Wanna try calling daddy?"Meryl asked and Benjamin eagerly nodded. She immediately grabbed her phone and she dialled her husband's number for Benjamin. It rang a few times, and just before they thought that he won't pick up, he answered the call.

"Hey, I'm working."Pierce said all of a sudden and that broke her heart right away.

"I just uhmm c-called for uhmm Benjamin."Meryl said, trying her best not to cry.

"Daddy!"Benjamin squealed as Meryl hand him her phone.

"Hi, baby. I'm sorry, daddy is working."Pierce said from the other line.

"I miss you so much, daddy. Bey Bey and I miss you. Pwease come home daddy."Benjamin pleaded all of a sudden.

"Daddy will come home tomorrow, okay?"Pierce said and it made Benjamin smile.

"Bey Bey and I wee wait for you daddy."Benjamin uttered and he heard his father giggle from the other line.

"Okay, Benj, give the phone to mommy now. It's time to sleep."Pierce said and Benjamin obeyed his father right away.

"We're uhmm g-going to uhmm sleep now."Meryl said almost a whisper.

"How's Bey Bey?"Pierce asked all of a sudden.

"She's becoming more and more uhmm hyper."Meryl answered that made Pierce smile.

"I'll be home tomorrow, okay?I love you."Pierce said softly.
