She was crying a lot. Did that mean that she actually regretted leaving me? Did she love me back? Was Sailesh still her boyfriend? Knowing Ankita something told me that both of them should've broke up by now. All the words that I said, were never planned. I just spoke my heart out, like Catherine asked me to. Ankita slowly stopped crying.
"*sniff* do you still love me?" she asked with those puppy eyes.
"......... I wouldn't be here if I didn't love you."
"but I left you..."
"I just explained that I don't care what you did to me Ankita. Just come back in my life and love me like you did. Be the same old Ankita. Be the girl I fell in love with........."
"..............."
"will you be my girlfriend again Ankita?.....please??"
She started crying again but this time she moved slowly towards me crying all the way. I'd grown taller, she was 3 inches shorter than me, I knew this because her head was just 3 inches away from me. Tears streamed down her eyes. She looked at me, desperately. I could beg or put myself in front of a moving vehicle if she thought of leaving me again(this backup plan was formed in 3 seconds). I wanted her to be the same old childish Ankita who got high on happiness everyday. She was still looking at me. Her lips quivered and the tears kept flowing.
"hey...*voice breaks* please don't cry, please..." I said.
I couldn't take it, she was crying a lot. Then all of a sudden she hugged me and sobbed more.
