Hi everyone! I hope you have all been well.
It has been YEARS! I promised I would complete all of my books though and here I am. I don't know if anyone is still waiting, but I'm feeling glad.
Where have I been?
Well initially I lost motivation to write this book, and then I ended up signing a contract with another website. One of the conditions on my contract was that I wasn't allowed to write on any other platforms so I ended up putting this book on a very long pause. Fortunately, my contract is over and I am finally allowed to write on other platforms again!!
I honestly feel terrible that I have left this book incomplete for so many years. I'm so sorry to anyone who is actually still waiting. I have actually had contact with some of you recently and I am so sorry that I ended up releasing this chapter later than I had initially said. I had to re-read the book and then get into the heads of my characters once again which ended up being pretty hard, especially considering I am also writing like 3 other books at the moment.
Regardless, I am so sorry for disappearing and returning after so long. If you are still here, I hope you enjoy the end of this book!

Daniel gave me a dismissive look before he turned around and walked to the back of the kitchen. I felt the world around me shatter but I tried to not let that affect me. Instead, I put my pride to the side and followed after him. The workers all shot me a confused look but none of them said anything after seeing the look on Daniel's face.
"Daniel," I called out to get his attention but he continued to walk away without even bothering to give me a single glance.
I followed him until he came to a stop at the back of the restaurant. It was smelly due to the rubbish containers and it really wasn't an ideal area to speak but I wasn't going to complain. I needed to speak to him no matter what!
He continued to stand with his back to me and I was too afraid that he would disappear if I took a step closer so we stayed that way for what felt like an hour. I was willing to wait a hundred years if it meant he would finally speak to me but fortunately, it didn't seem like I needed to. He slowly turned towards me and stopped when his electrifying eyes met my own.
"Why are you here?" he all but spat. It had been a while since we had been separated but his anger didn't seem like it had diminished at all. His voice was filled with nothing but anger and I had a feeling that was just the tip of the iceberg.
In the past, their anger had always lead to sex but it was clear that this time it was different. This wasn't some small issue that could be resolved in a single night. This was about a broken trust. And it really made me worry about our future. Would he really ever forgive me? Or would this always be something that was at the back of his head? Would he always be reminded of it? And most importantly, how would I ever win his trust back?
"I-I just want to talk to you," I said. My voice came out smaller than I had intended but it was filled with the sadness I felt in my heart.
Daniel sighed and looked as if he was going to reject me but instead, with a nod of his head, he said, "Fine, go ahead. You have five minutes before I need to get back to work."
My heart skipped a beat in happiness. Although I felt like I needed at least an hour, in this circumstance I would have been happy with even one minute of his time.
But even with my time ticking, I did not know how to start. I opened and closed my mouth a number of times, trying to figure out what to say. I had so much to say but I had no idea how I was supposed to say it.
"Four minutes," he said, his face and voice void of any emotions.
"I didn't lie to you," I finally blurted out, the time restriction urging me to speak. Daniel scoffed in response but did not say anything. "I wasn't honest about my true upbringing but that is the only thing I have ever hidden from you. From the moment we met and up until now, I have only shown you my true self."
My chest heaved up and down. Despite the words themselves being so simple, they felt so heavy when uttered. The words after just fell out without any constraint.
"I have disassociated myself from the Pierce family the day my mother died," I said, my voice hardening. "The relationship between John Pierce and his wife Stella caused my mother's death. I left home after she died and never returned."
"Why didn't you tell me that?"
"I didn't think I needed to," I told him truthfully. "I really did grow up as if I truly were an orphan. I have no fami—"
"But that's the thing," he stopped me. "You do have a family. No matter how much you have distanced yourself from them, they are still your family!"
"Daniel, I haven't bee—"
"And Julie! You knew her but you never said anything. I even asked you if you knew her and you told me 'no'."
"If I told you about her, then I would have had to tell you about all of them. I just never wanted to be associated with them again. And with you, I felt that I didn't need to be."
Daniel just stared at me, a look of disappointment on his face. He looked like he had a lot to say but he didn't know where to begin.
"Tell me what's on your mind," I begged him, my eyes were filled with tears. I felt pathetic but in front of him, I didn't mind. This was the true me and he deserved to see my raw emotions. I didn't want to hide anything from him anymore.
Daniel rubbed his face in frustration but let out a sigh instead of any words.
"Is there anything else you have lied to me about?"
"No," I told him before I quickly corrected, "Not that I remember."
He stared at me for a while, making me fidget under his intense gaze. He finally looked away before he walked towards me and pulled me into a tight embrace.
"This is the final time," he breathed into my neck, making the butterflies in my stomach erupt. "I will never forgive you if you lie to me again."
"I won't," I told him honestly. "I won't ever lie to you again. I promise."
"Let's go home," he said as he awarded me with his beautiful toothy smile that I had completely fallen in love with.
"Oh!" I stopped him before we were surrounded by his family and friends once again. "There's one more thing."
Daniel turned to me with a raised brow and nodded his head, encouraging me to continue.
"What is it?"
I didn't know how I was supposed to tell him so I ended up just blurting it out.
"I'm pregnant!"
