She was fierce,
She was going to make it,
She was powerful,
She was exceptional.
But,
I don't know if she knew she was smart.
Let's talk about it, about
Her.
They didn't actually know anything about
Her world.
There were gaps; a growing divide.
The ground she stood on was falling apart. She felt it was time to be realistic.
This was the moment she - unfortunately - found herself confused. It was a strong growing sensation of frustration that had developed from within.
It would have been more sensible and very professional;
Closing her mouth and swallow the words bubbling in her throat.
But as she shook her head - listening to the idiocy of her peers - decided enough was Enough.
"I gotta do, what I gotta do, for myself."
She was convinced that it all had to be a joke.
