I couldn't possibly ever begin to imagine how they're feeling. One of the people that I love so much was experiencing a loss that no one should ever have to. They were always there for me and my irrational problems even when they were suffering themselves.
It's hard to understand why God throws things like this at us.
I thought He was there to love and protect us. But, when He takes away those we hold close and dear to our hearts, what're we supposed to think?
My only goal now was to help them, and make sure they would carry on with their head held high. I wish I could take away the pain; protect them from the inevitable. But, not everything goes the way we hope.
It's hard to think of what to say to them. I'm not able to even know where to begin. There are words in my mouth, but they all seem insensitive or stupid. So I push them down and just let them know that they are loved. All those who surround them love them and I will do my best to support them.
Just let me know if there's anything I can do to help, whatever it may be.
I love you and miss you, if you ever need to talk, I'm right here.
