Another day where it feels as if your whole world is collapsing all around you. I know how vulnerable you must feel in this moment - you can hear them talking about what method would work best to help you out of this spiralling darkness you've fallen into.

They're now watching as the hyperventilating starts, and you tell them you're trying to calm down but it's become increasingly more difficult as the seconds tick away. The sobs that escape your throat aren't meant to be so aggressive and loud either; you didn't give them permission to break free.

Oh how you'd love for it all to stop easily, to be able to feel the oxygen in your lungs again. Maybe it does work for a second, but then the hiccups start again, and your eyes fill with those tears.

The right side of your head now has a dull throbbing sensation, and everyone is at a bit of a loss. You're saying sorry and all you can do is try again to calm yourself.

There's a hand on your back, rubbing in slow circles, trying to comfort you as best they know how.

It stops for a second time, and you think there's a clearing ahead. Possibly your thoughts won't muddle anymore, and the counterproductive adrenaline will retract out of your body. But there is that recurring tempting uncomfortable tug at you chest again.

Now we're back to square one, and your company has lost the never-ending battle with you.

Again and again.

What are you supposed to do?

Why are you crying?

Sure, you can't stop it.

Sure, you don't have to be sorry.

But how come you never seem to be capable of doing better?

A//N: just a little fun fyi - the name Lorelei comes from german origin meaning "alluring enchantress".

Yesterday was horrible for me, but I hope all of you are having a great day.

Remember there's always tomorrow.
