^^Katie's Outfit!

Katie's POV

I looked my full body mirror taking in my appearance for the last time. I felt myself getting nervous causing for more butterflies to erupt in my stomach. I sigh and take a deep breath as in attempt to calm myself. Today was the day of 'the' press conference.

I was going to announce to everyone that I am having Hunter Hameln's child, and not only that I'm a stupid whore who conceived this child on a one night stand. Great... Katherine... just great.

"You ready yet?" Hunter asked from outside my door and immediately breaks my train of thoughts. "As ready as I'll ever be." I muttered before taking one last look at my then making my way to my room door. I opened it revealing Hunter dress nicely in a fitted black suit. He typically wore a suit to work, so this wasn't unusual.

"You look nice." Hunter compliments and I smile. "Thanks you too." I return and Hunter nods. He clear his throat before saying, "Thank you."

I walk past him out of my room making sure to close my door behind me. Hunter of course followed behind me as we ventured through the hallway to the main room. I hear Hunter's phone start to ring and he immediately answer it. "Hello?"

After a short pause he speaks again, "Yeah I'm my way." With that said he hung up the phone then turned to me.

I could tell he wanted to say something to me, but didn't. It's been kinda awkward between us after everything happened at my office. We haven't been our normal selves and with the thought of the press conference looming over our head these past three days... the awkward tension was almost inevitable.

"I just wanna say..." Hunter says graining my attention. This was probably the most he was going to say me these past three days. "-That people are going to be throwing questions at you, and taking pictures of you, and it's gonna feel nerve raking.-" He says gazing down at me and I nod taking in everything he was saying. "-But I want you to know that, I'm going to be with you the whole time. Ok?"

I give him a reassuring smile, because what he said did make me feel better. I felt better knowing that he wasn't going to leave my side, or that I wasn't going to be alone. "Ok." I respond back and Hunter nods before walking off towards the elevator. I follow suit making sure to grab my jacket off the couch. Hunter already had the elevator door open, and was waiting for me inside.

I stepped into the elevator, and once I did Hunter pressed a button allowing the doors to close. I sigh again and began to brace myself for my conversation with the public.

Hunter's POV

I blinked as the lights flashed relentlessly. I was currently standing in front of a group of reporters, photographers, journalists, and media heads. Everyone's questions clouded my mind as people threw them at me one by one. I was finding hard to think or focus on anything they were saying. However, I've had enough experience with press conferences to know  how to stay calm.

You show weakness even a little bit and they will eat you alive. Just like a shark, all it takes is one drop of blood for you to become their prey.

"Is it true! You got someone pregnant?!"
"Are you getting an abortion!"
"Is it true that you paid the girl to abort your unborn child!"
"How is this baby going to effect your work here at the company?"
"Mr Hameln?!"
"Are you still remaining as active CEO?"
"How are you going to explain this faults!"
"What is your plan to rebrand your image!?"

The questions came at me at the speed to lighting. All I truly heard was "is it true" and "Mr.Hameln". So many people were calling my name at once and it was taking so much in me not to snap.

"Yes, it is true-" I finally speak into the microphone causing everyone to lower their voices and turn on their recorders. I pause for a slight second just to take sure everyone was quiet before I continued. "-I am having a child." As soon those words left my lips it became hell.

The questions and comments shot at me like fire. Because with every strike they burned. "How does it feel to be Hollywood's most stupid playboy?!" "How is this any attempt to  prove yourself worthy in this industry!?" "How are you going to be able to build a company and raise a child?!" "You're still a child!"

The questions aren't what got me, it was the comments. There was no way people were ever going to take my serious. I was only in my early 20's , and  people already had their opinions on that. I can't run a company! I'm childish! I'm immature! I'm a playboy! The company needs a more branded face! No matter what I do, I'll never be enough for these people. They only want to see me fail, they only want to see me mess up.

However, I for one love to prove people wrong. So many people told me I'd never be anything. That I could never build a company from scratch, and especially in the music industry. Yet, here I was. I didn't want to give people any more reason to have ill opinions towards me. I wasn't going to give my belittlers what they wanted.

So, I thought quick on my feet even though I knew of the consequence. "But!" I speak settling the crowd. "-It's not as many of you may think." I scanned the crowd as I spoke trying to make eye contact with everyone in the room. I finally looked over at Katie who was standing off to the side waiting for me to call her up.

I decided it would better to announce that I was having a child, then introduce her to the media. For whatever questions they had, just to ease her into it. Instead of having her up here with me from the start, because I know how brutal they can be.

After my quick pause I continued speaking, "Katie could you come up here please?" I asked gently waiting to seem as sincere as possible. Katie looks hesitant, but walks up to me. I extend my hand for her to take, which she accept. She allows me to help her step onto my platform.

The mummers and mutters of people trying to whisper and gossip fill the room. I look our into the crowd making sure I had the room'a presence before putting a smile on my face.   I wrap my arm around Katie's waist and pull her into my side. "I'm proud to introduce Katherine Bailon. The mother of my child, and my fiancé."

Katie gasp, and tries to step away from me. However, I tighten my grip on her waist. I lean down to kiss her forehead for show, and I could feel Katie's grim. Immediately the room erupts into loud chatter, and once again questions are thrown our way.

"Fiancé?! As in you're getting married!?" A random reporter ask me gaining my attention and I smile widely.

"Yes! I couldn't be more proud to say... I will be marrying the love of my life, and mother of our child."

As questions continued to fly my way, I tried to answer as many of them as I could. I noticed Katie's cold demeanor, and silence. Which means it was gonna be hell for me when this conference was over. However, it had to be done. Plus, it's not like we're actually getting married, they just think we are. "That'll be all." I say ending the conference and start to make my way off stage with Katie.

"Wait! Wait! Mr. Hameln?!" I heard people scream at me but I continued to walk away. Thankfully my bodyguards were there to block everyone off from Katie and I as we walked into my building.

It took a while, but finally Katie and I were alone. "Look, Kat-" I began but I didn't even get to finish my sentence because I'm meet with Katie's hand colliding with my face. My head flew to the side on impact, and was immediately followed by a painful sting. I was not only flabbergasted, but in awe. However, I was also confused.

Did she just hit me?
