King hums as she sketches on the corner of her diary, just an absent-minded doodle for now. She promised her mom she'd try keep a diary, try not to let things bottle up like she used to, but she feels like an idiot. Isn't it just talking to yourself?

She sighs and sets it down on her desk as she goes to the kitchen for something to eat. She puts some left over pasta in the microwave and grabs a glass of water as she waits, watching Jacob move in the shed. She hasn't seen him since yesterday, since he thought she was asleep and actually said something nice.

She smiles a little and looks away, grabbing the plate and going to the livingroom. She eats quietly, lost in though; she doesn't even see Jacob come in and look at her.

"That was mine." He snaps.

King looks up. "Huh?"

"That food, it was mine." He points, mad.

King laughs. "Oh cmon, it was left over from 2 nights ago, it didn't have your name on it."

"I wanted it!"

"And I ate it." She rolls her eyes; and here he is, ladies. Jacob is back.

He glares and throws the dirty cloth in his hand down. "Fuck you, Kingsley, seriously. You're so fucking selfish!!!"

"Its pasta Jacob, grow up!" She yells.

"It's not about the pasta, idiot!"

King grows mad and throws the plate. "FUCKING HAVE IT THEN!"

"DON'T YOU DARE THROW THAT AT ME CLEAN IT UP."

"CLEAN IT YOURS- GET OFF ME!!" She pushes him hard as he grabs her wrist to stop her from storming off.

"Clean. It. Up." He snarls, shaking with anger.

King cries out as he grips tighter. "GET OFF GET OFF!"

"Jacob!" a voice yells but he doesn't respond.

King manages to snatch her wrist back and runs, grabbing her jacket and rushing out the window to the truck. She drives one handed as she cries, her arm hurting. What was that? Why would he do that?

She pulls over and cries, resting her head on the wheel. She doesn't know if its from the fear, the pain, the hurt, but it all floods out. She feels her phone vibrating and looks at it, answering.

"C-Charlie." She cries.

Charlie is instantly alert. "Kingsley? What, what's going on?"

"J-Jacob got so mad. He-he wouldn't let go." She cries. "I didn't do anything uncle Charlie, I didn't."

Charlie's heart races; he knew it was a bad idea leaving them alone! "Okay, honey, I need to hang up to call Bella, okay?"

King nods small and drops the phone as he hangs up, hugging her knees. Don't remember. Don't remember. Don't let this become about that. She begs herself as she shakes. It can't become about that.

The opening of the truck door beside her makes her scream. "No no it's just me!" Bella reassures, looking up at King. "Hey now, cmon. Let's get you someplace warm."

King nods small and follows Bella who throws the truck keys to a big guy with long blonde hair. "Jasper's gonna bring the truck, it's okay."

King just nods once and curls up in the car seat with her eyes closed. She doesn't know if she shivers from the cold or if its from fear, but she can't stop shaking. The door opening makes her jump but she forces a small smile of thanks to Bella as she helps her out.
