Elijah and Kingsley Black died in each others arms at the ripe old age of 88. Their entwined souls refused to survive without each other and so they passed, peacefully along side one and other in their sleep.
Their lives had been a whirlwind, their love a roller-coaster, but in the end they were soul mates - at first, figuratively, but in the end literally. They loved each other to death.
The day King moved to Forks, she could never imagine staying there longer than the year or so she had to legally. If you told her she'd die there, raise her 5 children there, she'd have likely smacked you. But now? She'd never change it. Not a single moment.
Their children, Billie included, all lived full lives, too, closely watched over by their Uncle Caius, their grandma and grandpa along with their never aging family. No one questioned it, they all knew their family was special.
One became a doctor.
One an artist.
Another never really decided, and that was okay. They did a bit of everything.
One became chief of police, like their uncle Charlie.
And the last became a witch, like their mom. Though, their magic was much more tame and the most danger they faced was from a fallen candle.
Ultimately, the superficial details didn't matter to Kingsley anymore.
Because she got her love.
She got her family.
And she got to finally reunite with her parents, all of them, in the afterlife.
This time she died, this final time, it was different. She saw the light. She followed it. And she met Elijah at the golden gates - if that's what they were. There was no god, not like her dad had thought, but they had their idea of heaven. They had their paradise.
Each other.
I just want to say thank you all for making this story so enjoyable to write. And thank you all for reading. Enjoy <3
