I said my goodbyes to my friends right before the train slid into King's Cross station, so when the doors slid open, I was the first to jump out. Another advantage of the Weasleys' vibrant hair colour, was that they were very easy to spot. My eyes scanned the platform and quickly found the family, all sporting bright smiles. I spotted Fred and as soon as I did, I broke out into a sprint, dragging my trunk behind me. He walked up to me too and opened his arms.
"Weasel!" I yelled, dropped my trunk and jumped into his arms.
"Hi there Homeschooled", he said and buried his head in the crook of my neck.
"I missed you", I said and pulled a way a little bit, just to be able to kiss him. He smiled brightly held me close to him.
"Well don't you look handsome", I said as I noticed the suit he was wearing. He had gotten a haircut too and even though he had always been very handsome, I felt myself swooning over the new look.
"I know right. Bought it from our first profit. Looks smart, right? We're real businessmen now."
I grinned and kissed him again, so glad to see his face.
"It looks brilliant."
Fred took my trunk in one hand and my hand in the other as we made our way to the rest of the family. I hugged Molly tightly, not letting go of Fred's hand, and did the same for Arthur. I would have to wait to see George until tonight, because he was keeping the shop open.
"Come on, let's go!" Molly said and got out her wand. Because Ron and Ginny were the only underage wizards, we could easily apparate to the Burrow. He said goodbye to Harry and Hermione (that first one not looking to happy next to his uncle) and grabbed onto Arthur's arm.
I thought of The Burrow, immediately smiling at the thought, and swished my wand. A weird sensation crept through my body, but soon, we were all standing in front of the magical building.
Molly had set up a bed for me in Ginny's room, because the ghoul in the attic creeped me out. I loved Ginny, so I was pleased. Fred and George barely ever slept at the Burrow anymore because the shop was such a success, so maybe I could sleep over there sometimes too. It seemed as if I would have to do some work to get to see Fred, because the twins were constantly busy. It was nice that he took a little break to come see me at the platform though.
I unpacked my trunk before dinner and caught up with Ginny for a while. I hadn't spoken to her in quite some time. When Molly called us down for supper, another pleasant surprise was waiting in the living room: George Weasley.
"Georgie!" I shouted as I saw him and hugged him tightly. He had just apparated from the shop to the Burrow. He hugged me back and put his bag down.
"Good to see you again. How was school without us?" he asked. I replied with a simple "meh".
"Come on, sit down! Supper is ready!" Molly said and put many different pots and pans on the large dinner table. She had really outdone herself again.
This was going to be one very good summer.
FRED'S POV
"Okay, close your eyes, yeah?", I said as I held Y/N tightly and got out my wand. She nodded and closed her eyes. I grabbed her hand and apparated to Diagon Alley 93.
"Just a little longer", I said as I gently guided her to the front of our shop. I was so proud of what George and I had created, that I couldn't wait to share it with her. Maybe one day, she would work with me too.
"Okay, and open them", I said and looked closely at her reaction. She slowly opened her eyes and looked up at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. Her eyes darted from left to right and slowly but surely, the corners of her mouth curled up into a huge smile.
