FRED'S POV
She told me she loved me.
She actually told me she loved me. She said those words, I love you, she said it. I had a hard time processing that message. The girl I loved, loved me back. I couldn't help but grin like an idiot when I heard those three words.
"I love you too, so much", I said and kissed her slowly. I could feel the smile on her lips as she kissed me back, which was the best thing ever. I grabbed her by her waist and pulled her up a bit, so I had full access to her lips. I propped myself up on one elbow and used the other hand to cup her cheek. This girl was driving me crazy.
"What are you doing during the holidays?" I asked out of breath once we had broken apart. Her smile faded away in an instant.
"Way to kill my good mood. I have to go to an orphanage. They didn't find any family for me to stay with", she said. I was not going to let that happen.
"Wrong, you're spending the summer at my house", I said and kissed her again.
"And wrong again, because you do have a family."
"What?" she asked confused. She was so oblivious sometimes.
"You do have family. All your friends down there are your family. I am your family", I said and pushed a strand of hair out of her face. She looked up, her eyes still slightly watery, but a genuine smile on her face. She was so beautiful.
"And since you have a family, you don't belong in an orphanage."
"But, staying at your place, all summer?"
"Yeah, why not?"
"Won't your parents mind? I mean, that's a lot to ask."
"They will absolutely love it. Don't you worry. I'll write my mum in the morning if you want, but you're definitely staying."
It took her a couple seconds to let it all sink in, but slowly a relieved smile started showing on her face.
"Thank you so much, Fred. You're the best." She sounded so relieved. I hadn't put much thought to her summer plans until now. She must have been anxious about it for a while. She didn't have to anymore, though. I was going to take care of her until the day I die, and that was a promise.
"What do you say about a slide-ride downstairs?" I asked and Y/N grinned cheekily.
"Wicked."
YOUR POV
The post had just arrived as I was still trying to get myself awake enough to tackle the day. We had two hours of Potions in a bit and I was not looking forward to it.
"Hey, read this", Fred said and handed me his letter. I frowned and took the parchment. It was a letter from Mrs Weasley, his mother.
Dear Frederick
Good to hear from you, son! All is good at home too. And of course your girlfriend can come over the summer holidays! We would be so happy to have her. Ginny will definitely like another girl in the house. And so will I!
She'll have to sleep in the attic, though, because she's not sleeping in your room! You have kept your manners around her, I hope? I raised you to behave nicely! I'll make sure everything is set up for when you arrive. What does she like to eat?
I can't believe you've got a girlfriend Frederick. Your dad and I are so happy for you!
I can't wait to meet her! I have never heard of the name Y/L/N. Is she new in the country? She must be lovely if she has managed to win your heart. And she must be tough to survive you and your brother.
Please tell her I said hi and that she's more than welcome. She is part of the family now. And tell her that I'm very excited to meet her as well. Oh, I can't wait!
