Ashton: “Do you need help?” a young man asks while I lean against the lamppost near my house—or my parents’ house. I look over at the man and shrug my shoulders slightly. He takes two more steps closer to me and rests his hand on the cold metal. “Are you okay?” he asks again. I shake my head silently and try to warm my hands up by rubbing them together. “Why do you care? I don’t even know you.” He shrugs my harsh words off and runs his free hand through the curly hair on top of his head before sighing quietly. “Come on, I’ll take you out for hot chocolate,” he says while flashing me a kind smile; showing off his dimples lightly. I nod quietly and allow him to lead me to the shop three blocks down.
Luke: Tears fall down my cheeks slowly while I sit on the cold bench as the snow falls down around me. The sky was pitch black; the only light you can find out here was from the lamps at every end of the sidewalk. “Are you okay?” I heard a male voice ask from right behind me. Slowly, I turn my body around to find a man with blonde hair and a jacket on. I quickly wipe a tear away before it reaches my jaw and shrugs my shoulder slightly. The boy gets closer to me and folds his arms across his chest. I inhale deeply and look up at him. “Come on, let’s go on a walk and you can vent about whatever the problem is,” he says in a low voice while holding his hand out to me. I nod and walk beside him quietly.
Michael: “Hey, are you okay?” I felt a light touch on my back. I jerk away slightly before looking up to find a man looking down at me; his eyes widen a bit. “Yeah,” I lie before sniffling quietly. I heard the man shift slightly and walk around to stand right in front of. “I know you are lying,” he says in a low voice as he pulls the jacket he was wearing and drapes it over my shoulders. I shrug the jacket on a little bit more while giving him a slight smile. “Thanks…”
Calum: I sit on the swing in the park next to my house as I continue to cry. This was all my fault but why did they kick me out instead of just grounding me or actuallytalking to me for once. I sigh as I wipe a fresh tear off my cheek before it hits the pavement. A light smile appears at the corner of my lips as a few sweet memories of my family appears in my head. “Hey darling, is everything okay?” I heard a guy ask as he walks up behind me. Without turning around, I shake my head lightly. I felt a light hand press against my back as the man gets closer. “Do you want to talk about it?” I look up at him and nod my head. He smiles gently and wipes the tears on my face away before sitting down next to me. As the night drags on, I found myself venting to this kind stranger.
