Chapter 9

Kacey

A day, just one more day till I have to make my desicion. The couple of days had been boring. I went out a bunch of times with Luke but just as friends, and in those days I realised that I've fallen for him. I love him and I can't afford to lose him again.

He's been taking my mind off of things but it only helped a tiny tiny bit. We don't even know what to do.

But we planned something, I just hope that it works.

"Ace your spacing out again." Luke said

"Huh? Ohh.." I said as I looked at our intertwined hands.

"Still thinking about it?" He asked

"Yea." I replied shortly

"Don't worry. Our plan will work okay?"

I stayed silent for a momment, until I finally broke.

"Don't worry?! Your seriously telling me that?! Luke I don't even know anymore! What if it doesn't work? What if I lose you again? Luke I love.." I stopped my sentence and looked at him

"Ace what?" He said motioning me to continue.

"I.." I started but I can't seem to let it out.

"Kacey, I know it will work. You just have to trust me. I don't want to lose you too, I know I've made my mistakes and I'm sorry. But I want you to know that I'm doing this for us. Because I love you Kacey, not just as a friend but a lot more." He said as I stand there frozen.

I wrap my arms around him and started to cry. "I love you too you idiot!" I cried

I don't even know, but saying that took alot of weight off my shoulders.

"Stop crying." He said

He used his thumb to wipe some of my tears as I smile at him.

"I don't even know. What's gonna happen after this? I still need to finish things." I sigh

"I can wait." Luke smiled as he kissed my cheeks.

I hummed and felt myself starting to fall asleep.

I woke up to my alarm clock, todays the day. It's now or never. I need to face it.

I got uo and went to my shower, after my shower I wore a pair of jeans and a plad top, topping it off with a black converse and a beanie.

My phone buzzed and I read the text.

From: Phsyco dad

Today's the day. You ready? I hope you are. Oh and don't forget to bring that friend of your's, Luke is it?

I typed a quick reply

To: Phsyco dad

Of course I am. And don't worry I'll bring him.

I put my phone in my pocket and went outside where Luke was already waiting for me.

"Got my watch." I said raising my wrist up.

Today we were wearing the same thing, it was part of my plan. The lads already know my problem and they're in the plan too. We're just hoping that nobody gets hurt.

I grab my backpack and my penny board placing it inside the car and we drove off.

The house eas absolutely filthy, like someone died and rotted in there. It was like death in a house.

I sigh heavily, I just have to put on  a brave face and everythig will be okay.

I grab my bag and my penny, luke doing the same as we set it outside.

"I'm fucking nervous." I say silently.

"Don't be everythig will be alright." He says reassuringly.

We step inside the house to see two women, tied up in a chair.

What the fuck is this? Is this some sort of game.

My phsycotic father steps into view, holding a gun in his hand.

He smirked upon seeing me.

"Well well."

"Just what the fuck has happened here?" I exclaim

"Want to know?" He paused "see these two women? One of them is your Real mother, and the other is not. Choose the wrong one and all of you die."

"Are you crazy?! How the fuck am I supposed to look for my real mother when they're identical!" I exclaimed

They literally looked the same, same eyes hair, face. It's hard to choose.

I look at my watch and stepped forward, Luke at the door.

I don't know who to choose, I can't save us both.

I walked closer and observed them both, taking my time.

I held both of their hands and they held onto mine.

"Mom?" I whispered. "Please give me a sign." I looked down.

Both of the hands holding mine tightened, I looked up to both. I looked at them looking at their eyes, I can see love in the other and hatred on the other.

I stood up.

"I know who my real mother is." I spoke up

"Really then who?" He asked

I pulled out my pocket knife and sliced the rope of her.

"As you can see. Both of these aren't my real mother." I smirked

"They hate you. Not me." I stated

The two women stood up hugging me, "You're wrong."

What?

"Kacey! Now!" Luke exclaimed as I got out of their grip.

I ran to the door and lucky me my father catched up and captured me.

A rope was around mt neck, making me struggle.

"Fuck off!" I managed to get out.

"You're dying with me!" He exclaimed as the rope tightened.

My vision is starting to blurr. And all I heared was "Kacey!"

Luke

We almost had it, we were safe, she was almost safe but my stupidity got the best of me.

Her father had her neck tied up and I noticed it I was about to come inside again when the door closed and got locked.

I called Michael

"Michael!" I exclaimed

"What?! Were not done yet."

"Stop everything! She's inside with her father!"

"What do you mean?!"

"Listen, we have to barge in there now. I can't do this alone."

"Okay okay. We'll go there."

"Just you michael, leave ash and calum just in case."

"Alright."
