Sam sits there across from Presley who turns her head staring the boy down.

"they brought you here?" Presley says sounding surprised and Sam sits back staring around the cage.

"How long did Mason stay in here?"

"too long." A voice from outside the cage interrupts and Sam's eyes shift as he eyes the ole man over.

"Luke?"

Luke pushes some food to the bars and motions to sam

"eat up..." Sam takes it eating it as luke stands their staring sam down.

"they are planning something big, bigger than Mason can imagine."

"what?" Sam says enjoying his food as Luke whispers.

"a war with the new wealth."

Sam remains quiet taking those words in and Luke nods.

"yea, that was my reaction too."

Presley flinches as she catches the piece of food sam tossed her way and asks sounding unsure.

"you are sharing?"

"can't afford anyone to be weak.." Presley bites into the food and luke motions to sam.

"you need to stay put you are safe here. eventually, Mason will come."

"why would he?"

"you know why..." Luke grins and Sam turns his head but hears a voice.

"still plotting? I see Lukas." Sam turns his head eyeing the man with blonde hair around his brother's age as Lukas comments.

"Sebastian...."

Sebastian smiles as he whispers.

"don't think I know, huh?"

Lukas shifts his eyes worried and asks.

"what do you mean?"

"his plan? I mean he trusts you but does he really?" Sebastian nods his head as he comments.

"you don't even know the plan.."

"what do you mean?" Sebastian turns his head staring down Lukas with a sly smile and turns back nodding to sam.

"Samuel how're things?"

"it's just sam..."

"right." Sebastian grins and shifts back to Lukas as he whispers. 

"don't do anything stupid because you are gonna be shocked when you find out the truth."

"Truth?" Presley says her voice shaking and Sebastian nods sure of his words.

"Everyone comes home. the commonwealth wasn't built in a day, years of work. my mother put into it. this is the future."

Sebastian stares down Presley knowing all about mason's people and grins as he lowers his voice.

"and I won't let anyone destroy that or change that. I already hear it the whispers about the group from Alexandria about how they beat the whisperers but they didn't beat the whisperers did they?"

 "Alpha's dead-"

"yeah, and who took credit huh? those Alexandria people? but it wasn't them it was that Negan guy-"

"They seem like good people-"

"they aren't..." Sebastian breaths out thinking of something and Presley turns her head seeing a scar on his arm eyeing the burned flesh and he pulls down his sleeve as he motions to Lukas
