All the evil is over. No harm will ever be coming back to Middle Earth again after the fall of Sauron all because of Frodo, the young hobbit's heroism. The war is finally over and Aragorn and Arwen became king and queen of Gondor. And Legolas is now free to go home to his Elven kingdom of Mirkwood and to his father, King Thranduil. En route to his home, on his horse and friend Arod, he sings a song.
Legolas: Every inch of me is trembling 🎵
But not from the cold 🎵
Something is familiar 🎵
Like a dream I can reach but not quite hold 🎵
I can sense you there 🎵
Like a friend I've always known 🎵
I'm arriving 🎵
And it feels like I am home (dismounts his horse) 🎵
I have always been a fortress 🎵
Cold secrets deep inside 🎵
You have secrets, too 🎵
But you don't have to hide 🎵 (enters the Mirkwood forest)

Legolas: (runs through the forest) I've never felt so certain 🎵

But I'm here for a reason 🎵 (zooms down the hill on a wooden board)
Could it be the reason I was born? 🎵
I have always been so different 🎵 (jumps on rocks in the river)
Normal rules did not apply 🎵

I finally find out why? 🎵

I'm no longer trembling 🎵

Legolas' mother (as a teen): Ah ah ah ah 🎵
Elves: Full of memory 🎵
Legolas (tears well up in his eyes): Naneth? (mother)
Legolas' mother: Come, ion nin, homeward bound 🎵
Legolas (bursts into tears): I am FOUND!!! 🎵
Both: Show yourself 🎵
Step into your power 🎵
Grow yourself 🎵
Into something new 🎵
Legolas' mother: You are the one you've been waiting for 🎵
Legolas: All of my life!! 🎵
Legolas' mother: All of your life 🎵
Legolas: Oh, show yourself! 🎵
