*Play I'm Good by Blaque*
9:40pm - South Beach, Miami, Florida
SoBe was alive tonight for sure. Subtract all of the tourists and self involved rich pricks that inhabited these parts of Miami, you had the average locals who proudly called this place home and embraced all of its personality—good or bad. The humid summer air was so thick, it grabbed at ones skin and melted away those engaging in increased activity. Up and down the strip people in clusters conversed and drank in front of the nightclubs, crowded around the sick lowriders and sports cars cruising slowly down the street to show off, and mixed and mingled with folks new to the scene. There wasn't a fairly quiet spot around unless you snuck off to a private alleyway or walked the beach long enough to get away from the hot spots.
The ocean breeze could be felt from blocks away and its distinct smell blended in with other perfumed scents floating around; you either walked a couple of feet and got hit with something rotten or beer, food, and marijuana smoke. The police were paid off to look the other way except for when a fight was about to break out; they lurked everywhere in South Beach but hid for the most part. Los Carnales took over majority of the block while Estrabao Cartel took over the other small half. Neither were aware of each other's presence.
At the lounge Los Carnales partied at, they weren't so easy to spot at first glance (like usual) unless you peeped their maroon bandanas on different parts of their bodies. Members still wore sporty attire such as: basketball jerseys shirts/dresses, snapbacks and durags, sweatbands and baggy sweatpants/tracksuits, and crop tops or sports bras. But since Chris told them not to wear their colours to a point where it was obvious, black and maroon were scarce. Meanwhile at Estrabao Cartel's club called "Calle 14" (aka Calle Catorce) everyone dressed up in fancy and formal clothing. Luca gave them the luxury to show off their white and blue colours despite his knowledge that South Beach was owned by Los Carnales. But with Lauren locked up and Chris acting like a pussy that didn't want any problems, that ownership was about to be terminated and taken over.
''Cause even if I leave alone, I'm good.
And even if you come along, I'm good.
Don't mean a thing to me
'Cause I'm good with or without you.
If you want to play games with me
Then I'm good.
Say what you do for me then
I'm good.
You don't really mean a thing
'Cause I'm good with or without you.'
After four shots together, Aleesia and Lucia hit the dance floor with Jhene and Normani, getting down with the energetic crowd busting some moves to the heavy hip-hop beat. They sang along to the lyrics out loud or to each other, jumping around while throwing their arms up or throwing it back. Naturally, everyone on the dance floor flowed into a choreography led by a professional dancer flaunting his skills at the center of it all. Smiles and laughs graced the faces of many once they got the hang of it and lost themselves in the music.
Chris distributed party drugs and bags of weed with the help of Ghost, Ariel and Emiliano did the same thing but secretly because that money was meant for them and to go to Lauren's commissary. Right now they were on a break from selling and talking to some women at the bar, buying them drinks with their fake IDs and spitting game that'd make them wanna follow them to the motel later. Emiliano and Ariel were the perfect duo anytime they picked up girls. Nine times out of time they succeeded and got some. Luckily, this was one of those nine times. Three girls were willing to join them. They knew who the boys were and that they were in the street gang Los Carnales—that's what interested them the most. They either wanted in or to fuck with a gangbanger.
"Who's up for some more shots?!" yelled Lucia over the booming music, still dancing.
"I'm good!" Aleesia sang just in time with the singer, grinning with her hands moving tastefully all over the place. "I don't wanna get too drunk!"
