In 2nd grade I moved into a neighborhood with only girls.. up you heard me just one wired boy with a grey crown beanie with about 20 girls... I'm now in my sophomore year of high school and through out the year I've dated, kissed and hung out with all the girls in the neighborhood except one, my next door neighbor our bedroom windows face one another's and you'd expect her to be the first girl I talk to but no I actually have not talked to her like at all.. not even at school, her names Betty Cooper she's beautiful she's not like the other girls waiting to be laid by me she doesn't seem to care at all. Her golden locks holds up in a tight ponytail and from what I've heard she's a straight A student and the "perfection" of the neighborhood and of Riverdale
Betty's pov
I walked up to the front of my house and took out my keys to open the front door when jughead Jones the only boy in our neighborhood talked to me "Betty Cooper right?" He said as I turned around and made eye contact with him "uh yea" I said back "oh cute name, jughead" he said "yea I know and thank you" i said back with a smile as he smiled back " I'll see ya around sunshine" he said as we both walked into our houses.
I went and flopped down on my bed when I herd something hit my window, I got up and walked over to see jug in his room with his window open and gesture for me to open my window so I did, "hey sunshine!" Jug said the nick name makes me blush "hey juggie" I said as he smiled at his nickname "wanna join me at pops?" He asked me I thought for awhile "I have a lot of homework.." i said he gives me a look and said "really? Come on sunshine" as I thought about it "okay fine.. I'll race you to my porch" I said "hey that's so unfair!" He said whining "less whining more running!" I said and ran down my stairs and through the living room almost slipping because of my socks.
I open the door to see jug out of breath "I usually don't run" he said catching his breath as I laughed "let's go you can catch your breath as we walk to pops" I said and put on my converse and closed the door as he walked besides me. "Sunshine let me see your phone quickly" he said "what why?" I asked him "just gimme please" he said giving me a cute look "here" I said giving in he was typing the his phone ringed like he got a message " and now you have my number". As we walked in to pops we were greeted by pops adorable smile and sat in a booth "oh wait we need a picture!" He said and sat beside me and took one of us "aww it's cute! By why that face?" Noonespov As they had pops together jughead and betty grew to know one another quite well. Jughead begins to feel something for her.. his heart smiles when he smiles and laughs and giggles, she's different from the others,she has control over him plus she's adorable.
Betty on the other hand had already fell in love with him she doesn't want to admit it but she has her heart says so be her mind and anxiety pushes those thoughts and feelings away thinking she's not good enough.. even though she is..she's good enough for him he believes so
"Omg you did that!?" Betty said taking a bite of her French fry "yea my did still hasn't noticed that I replaced his favorite jar with a different one that looks the same" he said with a smile as betty smile back and checked her phone, "well this was so much fun but I gotta go home" betty said getting out her wallet "no put back that hideous thing dinners on me" he said making betty laugh "okay if you insist" betty said. Jughead puts the cash on the table "I'll walk you home" he said to betty as they walk out thanking pops for the dinner . Betty and jughead turn the corner where his and Betty's house is, jughead walks betty up to the famous red door "I had a lot of fun today and thank you for paying juggie" betty said looking down "Yea no problem I hope we can hang out again soon" jughead said as they both looked down for a little then looked back up into each other's eyes. Jughead leans in and presses his lips against her soft lips that felt like a pillow his hand wrapped around her waist and his hand against her soft cheek. At first betty didn't kiss back but she soon did and she was glad she did her hand on top of his hand on her waist and her other hand presses against his soft cheek...
They pull away looking into each other's eyes once and again and smile, "um text me if you need anything okay?" Jug said as betty smile and nod pressing her lips together as he walked to his house and betty walking into her's. "Who's the lucky boy?" Alice, Betty's mother asked "jughead Jones.." I said and she puts the newspaper down and looks at me "isn't he that boy that has basically dated all the girls in this neighborhood?" Alice asked "yea..but he's really nice and makes me happy besides we're just friends" betty said looking down then up "sure I don't think friends kiss each other and look at each other they way you two did, Betty honey for in love!" Alice said making betty blush "your not mad?" Betty said as alice walked up to her "of course not! Your gonna end up getting merried sooner or later you'll have to make your own decisions and if you think your ready and he's the guy to want to experience your first relationship with, I'm going to have to support you on that, because I love you Elizabeth" Alice said earning a hug from betty.
After awhile betty is now laying in her bed, her hair falls upon her shoulders as she reads her poetry book "milk and honey", when she gets a text message, she picks it up to see it's From jug juggie🥰: hey I just wanted to say goodnight to my sunshine and I hope you had a amazing time with me at pops Betts💕: hey juggie yea I did have a amazing time with you and good night to you to Juggie🥰: sweet dreams♥️ Jughead began to panic maybe the heart was to extreme maybe he should've just sent sweet dreams? Betts💕: sweet dreams juggie♥️ She sent it back she sent back the heart! Jugheads heart was about to burst man he's in love.
