I walked into the hospital and walked to locker rooms to get ready.
"Jones!" I hear, I turn around and saw Dr.Brim our chief of surgery, "yes?" I asked him, "I'm retiring soon and I was wondering if you would like to be chief?" He asked me as my eyes widen "Wait you are asking me!? Why not dr.Brim- April you know your daughter?" I asked him as he laughed "one she isn't Brim anymore she's dr.james and shes 9months pregnant and will give birth any day which is why she's at home" he said as I nodded my head, "I'll think about it" I said as he nod and walked away.
"You got asked to be chief your dumb ass said 'I'll think about it'" toni said mocking my voice at the end making me laugh "is that how I sound like?" I asked her "no but- really!? You should've said yes! And made me chief resident!" She said slapping my arm making me laugh as I grabbed my clipboard "just know that if I do decide to get the job, You don't get special treatment" I said as she glared at me "I hate you" she said as I smiled "you love me" I said as she rolled her eyes and walked away.
"Hey" I heard behind me, I turned around and saw betty "hey" I said with a smile, "so I have a surgery today aka right now and I guess this will be a great teaching moment for you so scrub in" I said to her as she smiled.

We were in the O.R scrubbing in. "What happened to him?" I asked jug "mans took a slip in the shower busting his head and now has a brain bleed" he said as I nod my head.
After his surgery me and jug went to his other patient. "Hey Bob how've you been " jughead said waking in as bob looked up "good" he said "okay well results are in, Betty present" he said as I opened up his chart. "Bob Landy, 36 years old 176 pounds. Came in for chest pain" I said and looked up at jug "thank you dr.Cooper he said as I smiled "bob so turns out you have Takotsubo cardiomyopathy" jughead said "in English please?" Bob said "Bob you have broken heart syndrome or also known as apical ballooning syndrome and stress cardiomyopathy, it's a continuation in which intense emotional or physical stress which can cause rapid and severe heart muscle weakness" jughead said as bob let out a sigh "I knew it" he said "but don't worry, Betty go over the treatments for this" he said
"Treatment for Takotsubo cardiomyopathy is medication time help remove fluid from your lungs and to help improve your blood pressure, blood thinners to help prevent blood clots or strokes" I named all of the treatments. "Thank you Dr.Cooper"he said as I nod.
The day was over. I was waiting for veronica to be done because she was gonna give me a ride back to our apartment. "Cooper" I heard and turned to see jughead. "Great job today, I should have you on my service more often" he said as I nod and looked away, "what's wrong?" He asked me as I just smiled it off "nothing" I said as he let out a sigh and brought me into a closet. "What's wrong baby girl?" He asked me as I looked down and blushed at the nickname. "A-are we just gonna ignore the fact that we slept with each other?" I blurted out as she chuckled, "what are we supposed to talk about? Tell in story wise? Should I make it detailed for you?" He said tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear "I don't know just something.." I said letting out a sigh as he smirked, "well.. you were amazing.." he said as I smiled "you were too" I said as he smiled. "Chief Brim asked me to take over his spot.." he said as I my eyes widen "well what did you say!?" I asked him "I said I'll think about it" he said as I scoffed and pushed him away playfully "you should've said yes!" I said he let out a sigh "Yea topaz said that too" he said, "take it" I said as he gave me a look, "Wait shit.. that would me I slept with the chief me the intern.." I said making a face of disgust making him chuckle "so I shouldn't take it?" He asked as j shook my head "NO take it! Get your stubborn ass to his office and say you will take the job!" I shout at him as he gave me another look and I realized I called him a stubborn ass.. "I'm sorry..please?" I said as he laughed "fine" he said and next thing I knew he pulled me into a kiss.
That same spark ran down my spine. A fire lit up and suddenly I wasn't so cold anymore.
We pulled away and smiled. "Be mine?" He asked as i smiled widely "yes.." I said back as she chuckled and pulled into another kiss.
