"Julien!! Come here we have to do your hair!" Jughead shout from his bathroom putting his toothbrush away "daddy..I need help!! I can't see!!!" Julien said walking into the bathroom with his head stuck in his shirt making jughead laugh "why didn't you come to me for help?" Jughead asked pulling Julien's shirt down "daddy I'm going to 1st grade I have to be a big boy now" Julien said making Jughead laugh as he lift him up and sat him on the counter to do his hair "well even if your a big boy your still gonna need your daddy like how I need my daddy" jughead said and brushed his hair.
7 years ago jughead left the serpents to start his life with Julien's mother Christen who left just a few month after Julien was born, jughead started talking to her 1 year after he and betty broke up due to betty making the relationship toxic by lying to him and cheated on him.
"Okay put your shoes on I'm gonna make sure that I packed enough food for you and make sure you have everything" jughead said as Julien went over to put his shoes on as jughead grabbed his Spider-Man backpack and unzipped it to make sure he has all of his school stuff for the first day, jughead grabbed his lunchbox so see that he forgot a juice box, he opened the fridge and looked at all the juice box choices "what flavor of juice box do you want?" Jughead asked "Blueberry please!" He said as jughead grabbed the blueberry flavored juice box's and put it in his lunch boxes. Jughead puts the lunch box back in his backpack and zipped it up and walked back to Julien "okay you ready....Julien your shoes" jughead said laughing to see that his shoes were on the opposition's feet. Jughead fixed his shoes and got in the car. As they arrived to Riverdale Elementary school jughead opened the door for him and they walked in the building to find his class, "okay you be a good boy okay?" Jughead said kneeling down as Julien hugged him "I will bye daddy, I love you!" Julien said pulling away from the hug "I love you to Julien, kisses" jughead said and kissed Julien's cheek making Julien let out a giggle and wiped the spot where jughead kissed "Blugh daddy! Don't embarrass me!" Julien said amusing jughead laugh "that's my job, okay bye bye" jughead standing up and watched Julien run into his classroom.

I watched him run in with a huge smile..it was like just yesterday I herd his first cry..held him for the first time as tears filled my eyes.. I remember his first day of kindergarten..he was so scared he cried when I walked out it hurt me walking away and hear him cry but I knew that i was gonna see him, this year he did much better I think he's starting to like school more now too.
I got in the car and drove to Pops for some coffee and so that I can get to work. "Hey pops just a normal black coffee as a to go please thank you" i said putting 5 dollars on the counter as pops picked it up with a smile. I stood there and looked down at his watch to see it was 8:20 now. "Here ya go" pops said as i smiled and grabbed it and walked back into my car and drove to work.
A week has gone by and everything was getting better my work place is willing to start and pay me more, but..Julien seems to be more and more sad each day and luckily it's conference today so I can talk to the teacher about that too, I mean it may not sound like a big deal but me as a father it makes me worried about him. "Julien is doing very well in school his vocabulary is extremely good!" His teacher Mrs.Blankson said "that's great but uh.." I said and turned around to see Julien sitting at his desk with my old beanie on and coloring "I've noticed that he's been coming home with a few bruises and cuts and he's sad all the time and as a father it worries me, is there someone who's hurting him?" Jughead asked turning back around to his teacher "I was about to talk to you about that, there's this boy his name is Jaw, I've seen him push Julien around a lot he has said some pretty cruel things to Julien, we have Been telling Jaw to be more respectful and we have emailed his parents about this to" mrs.Blankson said as I let out a sigh "who is jaws parent?" I asked her "uh it's Malachai" she said as I sucked in some air..fuck.. "is something wrong?" She asked "oh uh no not at all..we should get going" jughead said standing up.
