Jughead got in his car and drove to Betty's house like every other school day. Jughead parked outside Betty's house and watched as she skips over with a smile on her face excited to she her boyfriend for the first in 2 weeks due to school being canceled due to snow. "Good morning bubs" he said as she sat in the car pulling him in for a long deep kiss.
For years jughead felt lost and has been in and out of foster homes growing up due to his alcoholic of a dad, but every time betty and his lips touch he knows he's already home. "Good morning baby, I missed you" she said putting on her seat belt. "Oh did you now?" He said with a grin as he looked down the streets so he could get back on the road, "yes I did" she said as he smiled "I missed you too" he said looking at her then back at the road "I know you did" she said with a giggle making him chuckle.
The couple danced to 'Love My Way' on the way to school, to wake them up because they had decided on no coffee today.
Jughead had noticed that the road has slushy snow all over knowing that it was slippery, he tried not to worry betty because she gets scared and paranoid very easily. Jughead stops at the stop light and looks over at his beautiful girlfriend singing along with the song. Betty catches him and let's out a laugh at him turning away quickly looking absolutely adorable and hit at the same time. Jughead's hands clenched on to the wheel as he makes his turn.
Little did he know..that turn would change everything..
A truck drove over speed limit came and smashed into jughead's car door, tipping the car and rolling it down into sweet water river landing it on the roof. "Betty..." he mumbles and looks at her. Her head bleeding, arm and face had cuts and was bleeding but she replied weakly "Juggy..." she looks over to him, his head bleeding his body covered in cuts. Her eye soon landed on his stomach, bleeding badly with a huge chunk of glass stabbed into his stomach. "O-oh my god.." betty said as jughead looked down and gasped for air. "W-we are o-okay.." jughead says and reaches for her hand as her interlocked her hands with his "w-we are o-okay.." she said when she began to feel pain by her left chest, she looks down and sees glass sticking out of her chest and blood all over her shirt, "j-Juggy.." she said as jughead notices, "b-baby.. I-it's okay..s-stay calm.. t-they'll help us..." jughead says out of breath. Tears falling from both their eyes as they both know what's about to come, "j-Juggy..." betty says her voice shaky "y-yes?" He replies "I-I love you.." she sobs and winces in pain as jughead tightens his grip and looked at her and let's out a pain sob "I-I love You" he says back and coughs out blood as betty does the same.
Hours go by..
"T-they w-won't f-find us.." betty says, "D-do you.." he coughs once more "do you want to see the s-sun set?" He says weakly frostbites all over the both of them "y-yea.." betty replies her eyes almost closing, "l-let's g-go see the s-sun s-set.." he says tiredly "o-okay.." Betty says.
Both Betty and jughead closes their eyes and took their last breath with there hands interlocked..
"Found the car!" The cops said and points a flashlight in from the front the the car and the image broke his heart, two young teenagers who were deeply in loved, who woke up like every other day to go to school and not knowing that, that would be their last day waking up ever again.
They pulled out jughead and betty's dead cold body, having to unlocked their fingers in the process.
December 20th 2020, Betty Cooper and Jughead Forsythe Jones the 3rd died. Betty Cooper died due to severe injuries, brain bleed, stab in the heart internal bleeding and Hypothermia. Jughead Jones died due to, severe injuries, brain bleed, internal bleeding in the stomach, ruptured ribcage.
B E T T Y
I jumped up awake, my heart beating rapidly, My body all sweaty and my breath unsteady. I picked up my phone and looked at the time 3:56 am. "Holly shit.." I breathed out and called jughead.
J: hello?
His voice raspy and tired, i let out a breath of relief. I could imagine his messy raven hair and his eyes still shut.
J: hellooo
He repeated dragging the 'O'
B: oh thank god you are okay
J: Betty?
B: oh yea it's betty
J: why are you calling at 3 in the morning?
B: I just had a bad dream I just wanted to make sure you're okay
J: are you sure? I can come over and cuddle you
B: I don't want you to drive in this kind of weather
J: I'm coming
B: Juggy no-
Before I could say anything he hung up. My heart began to beat. What if my dream was a sign what If something bad happens to him!? What if I never see him again!?
A few minutes go by and I hear a knock at my window, I run over and opened it to see his finger. I let him in and shut the window. "Are you okay?" I hear him taking off his shoes and jacket. I turned around and watched him throw his jacket on my desk chair. I let out a sigh and ran up and jumped on him making him fall onto my bed as I straddled him and hugged him tight, "whoa baby" he said and hugged me back and turned us to the side so I flopped down besides him, "what is it?" He asked me as I pulled him into a deep and passionate, full of affection kiss. "Tell me baby" he said as we pulled away, "I'll tell you in the morning, right now I just want to sleep with you in my arms" I said as he smiled.
We were under the covers, his head laying on my chest and his arms wrapped around me and mine around him. "I love you..please don't ever leave me" I whispered stroking his hair "I love you and I promise I won't ever leave you" he said and kissed my stomach, tightening his arms around my stomach a little.
Thank god it was just a dream
