Backstory- in the town Riverdale you are born with a strand of hair of your soulmates hair and when you find your soulmate and make eye contact with them that strand of hair will glowing and that's how you know you found your soulmate.
"I can't believe you found your soulmate before me!" Betty says to Kevin "What can I say I'm just lucky, oh hey you should met him today after school!" Kevin says as betty closes her locker "I don't know I have tons of homework from the first 2 classes already" Betty says "girl you are the Betty Cooper any teacher would give you more time if you need it you are the class pet Cooper" Kevin says as betty rolls her eyes with a smile "okay fine" she says "yay! Okay I'll pick up up after school!" Kevin says as betty laugh "byeeee" she says and walks to her class.
After school betty waits outside of the school building for Kevin to pull up with his car. "So heads up his cousin jughead is staying with him while his parents are on a business trip and he's straight and cute" Kevin says as they drove. "Kevin there's no point trying to set me up with someone I already have a soulmate assigned" betty says "besides I'm sure he already found his" betty says "that's the thing he doesn't know who his soulmate is and he has a blonde strand in his hair and you have his hair color strand in your hair sooo...there's a chance" Kevin says "yea like a 0.0 chance" betty says as Kevin laughs.
They had arrived. They walked up to the house as fangs unlocked the doors and welcomed them in. "Hey!! I'm fangs" fang introduced himself "hey I'm betty" Betty says as they walked in and sat in the living room. Betty and fangs kicked off, they had a lot in common and were practically best friends. "Hey fangs where's the bathroom?" Betty asked "oh down the hall to your left" fangs says as betty gets up. She walks into the hall. She reaches for the door handle but the door was pulled back and was opened. Her eyes go up his body slowing. He was wearing black sweat pants and didn't have a shirt on, she looks up and there stands a raven haired boy with a blonde strand in his hair. They locked eyes "oh sorry" she says "it's okay" he says and locks eyes with her.
Her eyes widen when she saw..the golden lock in his hair glowed brightly. His eyes widen when he saw the raven lock in her hair glow. "Uh..I-I'm jughead.." he says "I-I'm betty.." she says as they stand their awkwardly. "I-I have to go.." jughead says clearing his throat and walks out as betty quickly walks in and lends against the door. "Did I just..Kevin was right.. he's cute- hot actually..that hot man is my soulmate!? That can't be right! No it just can't be..how did I end up with him!?" Betty mumbled too herself. She walks out of the bathroom. "Hey Kev I gotta go, it was great meeting you fangs" betty says and walks out before Kevin could say anything.
She gets home and locks her bedroom door and floops down on her bed and took out her phone "time to be the creep I am and stalk my soulmate" betty says and typed in jughead on Instagram "Oh wow..." she says clicking his Profile:

Her jaw drops, that's my soulmate..holly shit. She thought.
Jughead walks back and forth in his room. Holly shit holly shit..I found my soulmate and I took off..what the hell why did I take off!? He thought to himself. Jughead sits down on his bed when his phone turned on. He looks at the screen.

Yea.. she's beautiful and no one can tell me other wise. God damnit why did you run away? Jughead said to himself as fangs walked in. "Hey me and Kevin are going to pops wanna come?" Fangs asked as jughead flopped down and laid down on his back "no" he says "okay that's weird the jughead I know never turns down pops. What's up?" Fangs asked jumping into the bed. "I found my soulmate and ran away.." jughead says "wait cool!! Who's your soulmate!?" Fangs asked "betty..you know that girl" jughead says "shut up!!" He gasped "I would but the voices in my head says otherwise.." jughead says "wait...what do you mean you ran off?" Fangs asked "I like..I saw her hair glow..and I panicked and said I had to go" jughead says "dude why!?" Fangs says "I don't know it's my first time finding my soulmate..I don't know what to do!" Jughead says as fangs makes a face "well ya duh it your first time, you only get one soulmate smartass. You are coming to pops and I'll make kevin bring betty" fangs says and practically drags jughead out.
"Kevin! I have homework!" Betty says as Kevin sat her down "oh my god did you kidnap her?" Jughead says "what ever she's here now enjoy your date" Kevin says fixing his shirt and hair as both him and fangs and walks out. Betty and jughead sat in awkward silence. "Sorry about earlier.." jughead says quietly "it's okay.." she says back and looks back at her hands and looks back up at jughead at times but looks away before he looks at her. "So..we are soulmates" jughead says "we are soulmates" betty repeats with a little smile. "Are you happy with who you got?" Jughead ask with a nervous chuckle as betty looks up at him "yea..but is your personality as good looking as you are?" She says as he laughs "well I hope" he says "are you happy with who you got?" Betty asked as he smiles and looks into her eyes "yes....yes I am" jughead says as betty smiles.
Both Betty and jughead had a amazing night. They exchanged numbers just before Kevin and Fangs came back. "So how was it!?" Kevin asked sitting down next to Betty. "Well I found out my soulmate is a gang leader...and is extremely good with animals and children and is an amazing writer with an amazing personality" betty says as they all laughed "what about you?" Kevin asked jughead "I found out my soulmate has kinks for gang members, loves reading but not writing which is kinda weird but I can work with and is truly the sweetest most loyal and honest person ever" jughead says as betty smiles "aww!!! You guys are in love!! So you guys gonna make it official?" Fangs says "fangs we just met, I don't want to rush this" jughead says as betty smiles as Kevin and fangs laugh "isn't that what you said bebe now look at us" Kevin says as they all laughed.
