"Do you have to go?" Betty asked as jughead rest his hands on Betty's shoulders "yes love I do but I'll make sure to call you every night and morning and if you need me I'll be there like a lightning" jughead said as betty gave him a frown smile "okay" betty said "okay" jughead said back and pulled her in a kiss as she deepened the kiss. The both pull away and look into each other's eyes "I love you" jughead said "I love you" betty said as jughead pulled her into a hug and kissed her head.
Jughead and betty day there goodbyes. Jughead goes up the escalators to catch his train, looking back once to see that a tear has fell from the love of his life's eyes he wish he could run back and wipe her tear away telling her that he's gonna stay but like he promised to his dad that he'll be the first Jones to go to college and so that brings him to Stone wall a prep school, to continue his writing career. Meanwhile back in riverdale betty was dealing with a hole lot of shit. Her and Veronica are not in speaking terms do to when betty and archie kissed when both of their relationships were on a break, Betty's mom is sleeping with her boyfriends dad, her older sister polly is now a murder she stabbed a worker over and over and her older brother might be dating her fake brother who pretend to be Charles and to top it off betty finds out if she made it into Yale or not.
BETTY
"Hey you've reached the end of the call for jughead Jones if I don't pick up it's because I'm eating or hanging with my girlfriend betty please but try not to leave a message after the beep. *beep*" great... "hey jug it's me betty I was just wondering if you could met me at pops? I miss you and I just... I just have to see you soon.. please?.. if you can't make it it's okay I understand but please call me if you can. Betty" I said and sent the voice mail and leaned my head on to the back board on my bed and let out a loud sigh. Jughead hasn't called me like he promised it's probably because he's busy, at least that's what I keep telling myself..
An hour later I got a phone call, I picked up my phone and read 'Juggie".
J: he baby how have you been?
B: not the best..can you meet at pops?
J: Ahh yea about that I can't I have to stay up and work on a 8 page Essay for a story
B: oh...ok..
J: you okay?
B: no yea I'm fine it's just I really miss you around

B: well I should go and let you work on your essay bye
J: Betty's wai-
I hung up before he could say anything, I shouldn't be upset that he can't meet.
It's now 9:36 pm I was laying in bed when there was a knock at my door frame. I look over to see jug!

He came over and laid in my bed with me taking off his beanie and wrapping his arms around me
J: I'm sorry I couldn't be there... when you needed me instead I was being a selfish boyfriend and put my work before you and I'm sorry
B: no it's okay you did what you had to do..
J: I'm here now.. so tell me what's wrong? You hung up on me
B:.. *lets out a loud sigh and turns over to jug to see his face* a lot.. me and Veronica aren't talking because well you know, my mom and your dad are having sex thinking I can't hear, polly is being kept in a place to help you because she stabbed a woman over and over, our brother might be dating chick and I've been waiting to hear back from Yale.. I don't think I got in..
J: I'm sorry betty that you have to go through all of this right now, I'm sorry I can't and couldn't be there I'm sorry that I didn't keep my promise and don't doubt yourself your THE betty cooper hopefully soon Jones who would not want you? Your beautiful, smart, kind, sweet, an amazing writer and overall an amazing and strong woman your also the best girlfriend ever
