After dinner, jughead opens the door to their house. Betty hangs up her bag and took off her shoe as jughead takes off his shoes and walked up the soars as well as betty.
They quickly took a shower together and changed into matching onesies and got in bed, "what do you wnat to watch" Jughead asks her "Glow up" betty says as jughead let's out a groan "but I don't" jughead says "you asked what I wanted to watch!" Betty says, "ugh fine" jughead says getting out of bed and gives her the remote. "Where are you going!?" Betty ask as jughead walks out of the room "I'm gonna watch mine in the living room" he says as betty scoffs and gets up and walks after him.
"Stop being so dramatic! If you don't want to watch it then let's not watch it!" Betty shouts as jughead turns around and looks at her "go watch yours in the room" jughead says calmly and walks down the stairs, "stop being such an assehole and talk to me! It's just a fucking movie!" Betty shouts as jughead turns around and looks at her once again "who the fuck are you yelling at!?" Jughead raises his voice a little but not as loud as she was, "I did not raise my voice at you so before you talk to me again go fix that tone and that language" he says and walks down the stairs and into the living room.
Leaving betty confused on why he was so pissed, the beginning part of the dinner he was fine until after a phone call. She thought. Then it hit her. She walk down the stairs and saw him sitting up on the couch watching his tv show "criminal minds" Betty walks up behind him and wraps her arms around his neck and kisses the side of his head. "I'm sorry bubs, I didn't mean to yell" betty apologizes as jughead smiles and turns around "it's okay bubby, I didn't mean to talk to you like that, I'm sorry" he apologizes as betty smiles and kisses him "it's okay" she says and runs her hand through his hair as he grabs her from the armpits and lift her over the couch and lays her down and lays down between her legs and plant kisses all over her face. "I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you!!" He says in between each kiss as betty laughs, "I love you too!!!" She says making him stop and looks at her.
"You want to tell me about the phone call?" She asked him as his face drops and sits up and looks down, worrying Betty. "Juggie?" She says sitting up "baby" she says resting her hands in the side of his face and forced him to look at her, "what is it?" She asked him as his eyes filled up with tears, "my childhood dog..hot dog remember him?" Jughead asks her as betty nods her head and smiles remembering how goofy he was. "He died today.." jughead says as betty pulls jughead into a hug. Jughead loved Hot dog so much, he grew up with jughead, he was jugheads first friend and he was there when no one was there to save jughead when he was at his lowest. So of course hotdogs death hurt him. "He's in a better place now Juggy" Betty says as jughead cries into her shoulder, "I know..but I'm mad...I'm mad at myself that I wasn't their to hold him and tell him everything is going to be okay when he was fight for his life..but instead..he died alone in the middle of the night. How? How can I forgive myself for that? He was there for me everytime I shed a tear as a child.. he'd lay down on my lap and lick my face and when my head fell he would lift it up as a away of saying 'keep your head up everything will be okay'...and then I left him. For years..and he died alone..he suffered alone..he was alone.." jughead sobs as betty nod her head and strokes his hair, "I'm sure he forgives you jughead, he loves you just as much as you love him. I bet you right now he's up in heaven watching over you" betty says as jughead nods his head.
2 weeks later jughead birthday was today and Betty had the perfect gift in mind. She went to build a bear and made chose one that looked close enough to hotdog. She made the bear and packaged it up and went back home. "Hi baby" Betty said walking into the room "hi love whatcha got there?" He asked pointing at the box as she lift it up to show him the box , "oh no you got more stuffies!? Baby we talked about this" jughead says as betty skipped over to the bed and sat down "it's for you, happy birthday baby" betty says as jughead looks a betty and laughs and openes it and pulls out a stuff animal that looks just like hotdog, tears of joy filled his eyes as he smiles down at it, he reads the tag "hotdog" jughead reads and chuckled with a sniff followed after, "thank you baby" jughead says as betty smiles and lays her head on his shoulder and plays with the stuff dogs ear "your welcome jug" she says with a smile and kissed his cheek and lays her head back down at me his shoulder.
