"i can't believe we survived a whole week at a real school." leia giggled to herself as they left the school on friday afternoon.

luke just smiled, not paying attention to the girl. nothing had happened between him and han since he asked about the castle, apart from the classes they had together. he never stopped thinking about it, confused as to why han asked.

leia continued talking about the friends she had made as they entered their gates, stopping every now and then to bend down and pick a flower from the grass. they stopped outside the castle for a second for the girl to play a flower crown on her head.

he chuckled, "that's what you've been doing?" she nodded happily.

"want one?"

"no thanks." luke replied with a smile, giggling at his sister and entering the castle. they greeted their father, both grabbing some food and retreating into their cinema room. it was pretty much just a normal lounge room, just gigantic.

leia instantly grabbed the remote, turning the tv on and changing it to some space show.

"do you think dad would let us have one of those as a pet?" the girl asked as they watched.

"leia, they aren't real." luke said flatly. leia let out a huff, frowning. he turned to her with a sigh. "if ewoks were real, i don't think he'd let you have one."

"don't crush my dreams!" she moved to another couch away from him, pulling her knees to her chest.

he pouted, laughing softly at her. "i'll buy you a toy version for our birthday." this made her smile. they watched in silence for a few minutes, before their father called him.

luke groaned jokingly to his sister, earning a giggle and shake of the head from her as he got up. he made his way through the castle, breath hitching when he found his father next to han solo.

"this boy says he knows you?"

luke forgot how to speak for a second, "right, um, that's han. he's a.. friend from school." han grinned from beside anakin. "i forgot that we have work to go over."

his father nodded, looking down at han then to luke, walking away. luke watched him leave before turning to han. "what are you doing here?"

"just wanted to see what it was like in here. where's your room, your worship?"

"seriously?" han nodded with a goofy smile. luke frowned, "fine, but wait here a second." he ran off to where he left leia, stopping in the doorway.

"what is it?" she asked in concern.

"han is here and he wants to see my room so.. stay here? i don't want you guys caught in a quarrel." leia giggled out loud, covering her mouth to stifle it. he rolled his eyes.

she calmed herself quickly, "that's cute, have fun."

"cute? what's cute?" leia just began giggling again, annoying luke. he decided to leave, walking back to where he left the other boy.

he found han staring at pictures on the wall, stopped in front of one of young luke and leia. han was smiling at it when he turned to luke. "cute," he said as he pointed to the picture.

luke mentally groaned at the word, cursing his sister in his mind. "yeah, thanks, follow me." he started to walk up a set of stairs, hearing han's footsteps behind him.

they reached the top, and luke turned right down a hallway, passing a few doors before turning right again. he finally stopped at the first door down that hall. "here."

"that was a trip," han said with a soft chuckle. luke smiled, opening the door and walking in. it was quite a big room, with its own bathroom, but it was nearly empty. luke only had his closet, double bed, and a few bookcases.

"it isn't interesting, leia's room is full of things." he shrugged as he spoke, holding his hands in front of him awkwardly.

han just looked around, stopping to glance over the books then moving to the bed. "i like it." he sat down and looked up over at luke. the boy smiled softly, cheeks light pink.

he sat down next to the boy, "why're you here?"

"you asked me that already." han stared at him, confused.

"i know, but i don't get why we're friends," luke fiddled with his fingers as he spoke.

luke didn't get a reply for a few seconds, moving his head to look at han who was still staring at him. "you're interesting."

"that's all?"

"no," han laughed and ruffled the boy's hair. "see you on monday." he got up and left the room, leaving luke to fix his hair as he sat there.
