when luke got to school the next morning, he found han standing next to his locker. the boy was facing the other way, and luke felt him jump as he put a hand on his shoulder. "shit sorry, are you okay?"

han turned to him and let out a sigh, "fuck, hey, um, something kind of happened..." luke furrowed his brow, letting han continue talking. "lando might have figured out that we're.. together, and somehow it got out."

"w-what?" he felt his heart beating fast in his chest.

"i'm sorry, luke. i didn't think this would happen, he said he wouldn't tell anyone..." luke swallowed hard, a frown stuck on his face. he was in shock. the bell rang.

han ran his fingers through his hair, staring down at the small boy. "what are we gonna do?" luke asked. he was scared han would leave him over this. the boy only shrugged though.

luke felt tears forming in his eyes, trying his hardest to stop them from coming. he took a deep breath, remembering that han was looking at him.

arms wrapped around him suddenly, holding him tight. luke instantly relaxed, but that didn't stop him from crying. han rested his chin on his head. he entirely forgot about class, hoping that most of the students would be gone by now.

"i'm never going to leave you. you do know that, right?" luke choked back a sob, calming his crying as he lifted his head. han smiled softly at him. "i'll fix this, okay?" the boy nodded, blushing as han placed a kiss on his head. "deep breaths. i'll see you after class."

han left him alone in the hallway. luke wiped his eyes and quickly ran to class.

"why the fuck did you tell people?" han asked as he pushed lando into a locker. it was in between classes, and he found the boy alone.

"jesus christ, han! i didn't say anything, i swear!" han huffed, taking a step back and groaning. "someone else must know."

"shit," he swore, dragging out the 'i'. lando was brushing down his shirt and adjusting his bag. "sorry."

the boy chuckled, "it's okay. nice to know you still have that in you, i thought you went soft." han smiled, shaking his head. "i hope you find whoever told, i'll happily beat them up with you." lando walked off. han stood there with his arms crossed.

who the hell could know?

luke tried his best to ignore the stares he was getting. word was spreading around more, and probably everyone knew by the time it was lunch. he sat alone, picking at his lunch.

leia was on the other side of the cafeteria. he hadn't seen her since that morning. the girl kept looking in luke's direction, a frown on her face.

"hey, prince." his head turned to find han standing on the other side of the table.

he let out a laugh, "what are you doing?"

"well i might as well sit with you if everyone knows." the boy smiled at him, sitting down on the other side of the table and starting to eat. "lando didn't tell."

"seriously?" han nodded. "well who did?" he had no answer for that, he just gave luke a sad smile. the smaller boy pouted, eating his own food. he kept glancing over to leia, until one time she wasn't there.

"what are you looking at?"

"leia, she seemed.. sad, but i don't know where she went."

han looked around in her direction, "do you think she told?"

luke shook his head, "she couldn't have, why would she?" han shrugged, looking to luke. the boy frowned back at him.
