han and luke walked through the town, hands brushing every minute or so. han wanted to hold luke's hand more than anything, but he was still so scared of what might happen. he tried convincing himself in his mind that nobody would give any shits, but he couldn't help the fear.

the other boy was rambling about some book he had read, but han was struggling to pay attention. he was just so pretty. luke was so beautiful in han's eyes and he didn't care how stupid he would sound calling the boy pretty. because he was pretty.

he hadn't told luke about what happened with lando, he didn't feel it was a good thing to talk about. plus, they were supposed to have a nice time together and that's all he really cared about.

"here," han said suddenly, pulling the boy by his hand into a shop. he saw the opportunity to hold hands and took it. "the best food, hands down."

he looked back at luke, who was smiling and blushing slightly. han grinned back. "what would you like, your worshipfulness?" the boy scoffed jokingly at him, looking up at the menu. (can't be bothered thinking of the food they eat oops)

they picked what they wanted, han ordering the food and sitting down at a table inside. luke sat across from him and gave the boy a smile. they had stopped holding hands when ordering, which han hated.

"wanna come over after this?" the smaller boy asked, his food tapping on the floor. han felt as if luke read his mind.

"definitely." they got their food a few minutes later. han watched as luke took a bite, his face lighting up. "you like it?" luke nodded eagerly, "well thank god." he chuckled, eating his own food.

-

"thank you for taking me there." the boy smiled up at han as they walked across the castle fields.

he put an arm around luke's shoulder, "no problem, kid." they arrived at the door, han opening it and letting luke in. before they could run up to his room leia appeared from the lounge room.

"oh, hi." she spoke softly. han noticed a flower crown in her hands and smiled. luke glanced up at him, then to leia, before he awkwardly just walked away up the stairs. "shit." the girl cursed to herself.

"think you can make me one of those?" han pointed to the flower crown, catching leia off guard. she slowly nodded, cheeks turning pink. "thanks, princess." he felt her watching as he made his way up the stairs.

luke was staring out the window when he came into the room. "i think your sister likes me," han said as he walked over to the boy.

"what?" luke had turned around instantly.

"yeah. i wish you guys would work this out," he pouted, wrapping his arms around luke's waist when he was in front of him.

the boy stared up at him, a frown on his face. han cupped luke's face, "what's wrong, doll?" the name made luke smile slightly, kissing the taller boy on the lips.

they pulled away after a few seconds. "promise you won't leave me for my sister?" luke said with a smirk. han laughed softly and rested his hands back around luke's waist.

"i promise." he placed a small kiss on the boy's forehead. "i'm gonna go get some water, i'll be back." luke nodded, pouting as han's arms left from around him. "don't miss me too much," he grinned as he left the room and made his way downstairs.

han found leia outside. he moved through the kitchens and out a door, watching as she sat on the grass making the flower crown he asked for.

she looked up for a second when he came out but instantly went back to work. "how the hell are you able to do that?" he asked when he sat down on the grass. leia shrugged. "think i can learn?"

the girl laughed slightly, "if you want. here." she handed him the flower crown, now all finished. he smiled down at it, "are you going to give it to luke?"

"yeah, i am, think he'll be annoyed?" she giggled.

"he'll hate it, but it'll be coming from you. i know how much he cares about you." han felt himself blushing, a big grin now on his face. "and you care about him."

"i do," he said. "thank you for this." han stood up, giving the girl a smile as he walked off.

-

"jesus, how long does it take to get water?" luke asked him when he was back inside the room. han just bit his lip to try and hide his smile. he had the flower crown hidden behind his back. "what? oh god what did you do?"

"nothing!" he laughed. luke pouted as the boy came up to him. "a present." han said as he quickly put his arms around luke, one on his waist and the other sneaking the flower crown on his head from behind.

luke touched the crown and groaned, "seriously? you're such a weirdo."

"aw come on, you look adorable!" he smiled and gave the boy a kiss. he took luke's hand, giving it a squeeze before pulling him over to the bed.

they sat down across from each other. han stared into the boy's eyes with a smile, watching as luke blushed.

he was happy to forget everything that had happened at school and only think about being with luke.
