anakin had recovered as the week passed, already back to his work. he was monitored daily though, and couldn't push himself too far.
luke finally felt free after coming out, he was even dancing around the house randomly. he went to school on monday with a grin on his face, not caring about what anyone thought. he was happy. it was a bad time to be, but he just was.
he found han amongst friends. the boy spotted him walking closer and said something to his friends before going to luke's locker.
"is your dad okay?" han asked as luke stopped in front of him. the smaller boy nodded with a smile, "thank god. you seem happier."
"i might have told him i was gay," luke said shyly, staring up at han.
the boy's face changed from shocked to happy. "wow, shit, that's amazing." luke nodded, "i guess it's my turn now.." han chuckled awkwardly. the smaller boy put a hand on his shoulder.
"you know you don't have to, as long as we can still be together at least in secret, i'm happy. but.. i also kind of want to actually get together." he said softly, not wanting other people to hear. he realised it was probably useless, the hallway was packed.
han smiled down at him, "i want to get together too. can i come over tonight?" luke nodded eagerly, frowning as the bell rang. "come on, kid." they walked to class together, han telling him about something that happened on the weekend.
they walked passed leia, the girl giving him a sad look. luke just ignored her.

"i love holding your hand." the smaller boy said with a smile. han laughed at him, squeezing his hard. they were making their way through the castle field, happily swinging their hands along.
"you're adorable, have i told you that?"
luke chuckled, "once or twice." he opened the door as they got to it and let them in. "wanna watch a movie in the cinema room?"
"of course." han went and sat down, leaving luke to get some popcorn. leia came in, pausing in the doorway as she saw him. luke just turned away.
she let out a sigh, "please forgive me, luke, i hate how everything is." the girl spoke sadly. "i'm sorry, i really truly am, i know that what i did was horrible and i regret it! but i can't just change the past. i'm over han, i swear i am!"
"what do you mean 'over' me?" han stood near the cinema room, staring at them with his arms crossed. "did you cause all of this?" leia stuttered, looking between the boys as she tried to think of what to say. she instead teared up before she quickly made her way up the stairs to her room.
"the fuck just happened?"
luke sighed, turning it into a groan of anger. "i'm sick of this, han, why does shit keep happening? i miss when everything was normal, when i was normal." han stared at him, a frown forming on his face.
"let's just watch a movie and forget it, okay?" luke nodded, not taking notice of how han was acting. he finished up the popcorn, joining the boy on the couch.
