3. Mysterious stranger

Kaitlyn-Rose
Because I frequented this club and have my personal private room here, I also had a change of clothes. Sadly, that change of clothes comprised of dark skinny jeans and an off the shoulder top. It was passable, not my usual club attire, but it would have to do. I needed a drink after what just happened. Kei was acting weird, and Drake blackmailed himself into being my boyfriend. I still didn't understand what he would gain from it. I made my way to the bar using the music to tune out any unwanted strangers. I skipped my usual order of vodka and cranberry for something stronger, tequila. Maybe getting drunk would be the best thing for me now.

Someone took the empty stool beside me, but I was too busy throwing back shots to care. "Whiskey please." The shot glass I held paused mid air. That voice sent tingles down my spine. I recovered quickly and continued with my shots. "Also, a bottle of water for the lady." Where the hell did he get off ordering for me? Sexy voice or not, I was not in the mood for creepy old stalkers tonight. "Now you listen to me mister." I turned ready to give the perv a piece of my mind. The glass I was holding fell. My eyes connected with the most beautiful pair of ocean blue eyes I'd ever seen. I knew my mouth was hanging open, and I probably looked like a fish on land struggling to survive without water. My gaze travelled over his features. He olive skin was the first thing I noticed. Then perfectly arched eyebrows, a little thick and exactly how I liked them on a guy, strong perfectly sculpted cheekbones that held an arrogant air to them, nice lips not to thin and not too thick. I was in awe. Who was this creature? His hair was black as coal and had a business cut to it, but it also looked like he'd been running his fingers through it recently. On some guys it would look untidy. On him it looked perfect.

My eyes travelled down his broad shoulders taking in the black sweater that seemed to hug his body so well. I continued my view of his body noticing that his black jeans had a rip in both knees. That sent a ripple through my core. He was a bad boy. I liked bad boys. But nothing about him seemed boyish. He was a man. He was all man. I got wet. My treacherous body wanted him.

"You might want to close your mouth, love." He pushed the bottled water to me. "Drink." His voice was rich and unique. He sounded a little strange, like he wasn't from here. I couldn't place it. He sounded British with a hint of something else. It also sounded familiar, but my body was too hot to think straight. "Come on love, you're making me look bad." Although I heard him, I couldn't see his face because he had already turned back around to his drink.

Wait a minute. My mouth snapped shut as I came to my senses. Who the hell was he to tell me what to do? "No thank you. If I want water I can get it myself." I pushed the bottle back towards him. "Suit yourself love." Why does he keep on calling me love? It made my c*nt quiver. "You seem like the type of girl who gets in trouble." He finished his whiskey and got to his feet. "If you ever find yourself in trouble and need assistance, call me." He slid his card over to me. I looked at it, then at him. Those ocean blue eyes drawing me in.

Before he walked away completely he whispered in my ear. "Sei ancora più bella da vicino. Bellissima." Then just like he'd appeared he disappeared, leaving me clutching his card when I'd rather be clutching something else.

The language he spoke finally registered in my slow brain. It was Italian. No wonder he sounded strange yet familiar. It was a language my mum and uncle Antonio always spoke to me. He was Italian, or at least appeared to be. I thought about his parting words too. Sei ancora più bella da vicino. - You're even more beautiful up close. Bellissima. - Very beautiful. I looked down at the card he had so cleverly slipped me.

If I was sceptical about his heritage before, I wasn't anymore. Even his name seemed sexy. I tucked the card into my back pocket making sure it had no way of getting lost. Who knows? I might need his services later on. I took a sip of the water that he had left there for me. Dark and mysterious was right about one thing, I do tend to find myself in trouble quite often. Maybe drinking water wasn't such a bad idea.
