"You just got back. Do you really want to do this now?"
"Is it too soon?"
"At least spend a month here first before you hop on a plane again."
"You mean before we hop on a plane again." Phoenix pulled me down on top of him. "Come on Kait, you've been working nonstop since I met you. Don't you think you deserve a vacation?" I scoffed. "Paxtons don't take vacations."
"Whatever. Babe you need time to rest. You're high on the success drive. I'll make a deal with you."
"What kind of deal?"
"We still have no idea if your mom will go for the idea."
"She will."
"Okay, say she does agree. We still have to look for building space, location, workers etc. Are you ready to run a business?"
"I am."
"We'll also need to find an apartment, security and so forth."
"I was thinking more along the lines of a house. I'd feel more settled."
"You want to buy a house?"
"Don't you?"
"Stop asking silly questions, Kait." I laughed. "That's a lot of work. You need a break before jumping back in. You're also going to need an assistant and a publicist."
"Why would I need a publicist?" He gave me the eye. "Really?"
"Fine. You're right as always. "
"I know I am." He kissed my nose. "What would I do without you?"
"Starve. Lord knows you can't cook to save your life."
"Hey!" He chuckled.

"So what's the deal?"
"If you take a break for at least a month I'll pierce my nipples." I sat up excitedly. "You will?"
"I always keep my word." I smiled. "Okay, we have a deal. I'll take a break for at least one month. After that you have to get them done." He smiled. "Deal."

"Do you two plan on staying in bed all day?"
"It's the annoying sister."
"Phoenix, be nice. When did you get back Safiare?"
"Hello to you, too, brother." He rolled his eyes and we got to our feet. "I got in a few hours after you did."
"Does Jax know?" She laughed. "He'll know soon enough."
"You know I caught him with his secretary in his office."
"Did you now?" Her eyebrow rose. "You're not upset?"
"Kait, what did I tell you about butting in their business?"
"But he was cheating on her. She deserves to know."
"Believe me, she already does." I looked from brother to sister. "I don't understand you Safiare. If I ever caught Phoenix with another woman he would not still be living." She laughed. "Why do I find that so funny? Your brother will get what's coming to him, as will his whores."
"You two are sick you, know that?" She thought about Phoenix's words. "Are we? I don't think so." He rolled his eyes.

"So what are you going do Safiare?"
"I'm going to take care of her like I do all the others."
"The others? There are more?"
"Have you been living under a rock these past few years Kaitlyn-Rose, or is my brother that good in bed that you've lost touch with reality?" I blushed a bright shade of red. Thinking about me and Phoenix in bed made me squirm. Her voice brought me back to reality. "I see he is. Anyway, you're welcome to observe my taming of your brother."
"Taming?"
"What do you think I've been doing all this time?"
"He cheated on you with his secretary. I fail to see how that's taming him." She smiled. "What was his reaction when you told him you'd tell me?"
"He was a little frightened, called you a crazy bitch and told her to get out of the country." Phoenix started laughing. "I fail to see what's so funny." I looked between the two of them. "Wow sis, you really are amazing." He was still laughing when he left us in the room. I was confused as hell.

"Do you want me to show you what I do when your brother misbehaves?" Misbehaves? Is he a dog or something? I nodded. "Then let's go."
"Where are we going?"
"To the office."

"Where are you two going?"
"To Paxton Corp."
"I'm coming." I raised my eyebrow. "Why?"
"I'm interested to see what's going to happen." I was definitely missing something. "The more the merrier." I didn't think Safiare was crazy, she was beyond that. She was delusional. She smiled all the way to office.

"Don't you think she's acting a little strange? Why is she driving herself around? Where are her guards?" Phoenix laughed. "I think she has really gone crazy over my brother." Phoenix pulled me back against his chest and bit my earlobe. "I can hear you whispering Kaitlyn-Rose." The elevator reached the top floor and we exited. His secretary was sitting at her desk when we entered. She really had a death wish. So did my brother if he allowed her to still be working here. Safiare handed over a small bag she'd been carrying. "Mr. Paxton's favourite tea. Prepare it and take it to his office. We'll be waiting." Tea? At a time like this she was talking about tea? When did he start liking tea anyway? He despised the thing.
