7. Delayed rage

Kaitlyn-Rose
"Aren't you going to feed me?" The crazy hag had come back a few minutes ago. "You're the first kidnapper I know to starve their hostage. How will you accomplish anything at this rate?" She chuckled. "How would you know what a kidnapper is supposed to do? Have you been kidnapped before?" I shrugged. "I've watched movies."

"You're a special one aren't you? Maybe it's because you're young. I'll give you water for now. Can't have you dehydrated now can we? I got the feeling you weren't listening quite clearly yesterday either. So I'll have to tell my story again." Oh boy. Is she still on her glory day's trip? Her story is the real torture here. Why can't she see that? Being kidnapped I could deal with. Having to sit and listen to her ridiculous story I couldn't. It was hard to believe my dad slept with that, worse dated it. I mean his standards must have been pretty low before he met my mum.

"Okay. Let's hear your story. Tell me all about how my mum ruined your life. "Marc and I were going to get married." I tried to keep a straight face. "Oh? What happened?"
"Your b!tch of a mother stole him from me."
"Did she now?"
"I even lost his child." I had a hard time believing that this sixty year old lopsided-looking, silicone-leaking grandma was pregnant with my father's child. But if she believed that, I'll let her continue to believe it.

She launched into her story again and I tried my best to listen to her, but it was hard. At one point I think I even started to doze. I went over all the possible ways I could get away from her in my head. None of them seemed logical. I'd have to outsmart her somehow. "Have you spoken to your son today?" She's been going on and on about the fruit of her loins since I got here. I'm surprised he hasn't shown up yet to 'breed' with me. I chuckled to myself. "He's busy sorting out things for university, a place you have no intention of going."
"No doubt seven million pounds is a lot of cash for you. I can tell you've never seen that kind of cash before, even when you were allegedly with my father."
"That mouth of yours will get you in trouble, little girl. You have no idea what I'm capable of."
"I think I do. You're a whack job, and you're old on top of it. If you were thirty years younger I probably would have taken this kidnapping more seriously. How pathetic does one have to be to go chasing after a guy after twenty something years?" Another slap. I lost track of how many times my skin felt the sting from her palms. I'd pay her back for everyone in one go.

"You're really pissing me off."
"Am I? I guess I'm doing something right. You're not going to kill me. You need me for your idiotic plan. So I suggest you feed me and make me happy. How many hours has it been? Don't you think my family is looking for me? I'm pretty sure they've already figured out the connection with you and Drake. They might even already have him. You probably should check in. I'd hate for anything to happen to Drake because his mum is a stupid thot." Another slap. This one made me taste my own blood. I was hitting her where it hurts. Progress.

"Keep talking and you'll get more than a slap from me." She stormed from the room leaving me alone with my thoughts. That's all I could have asked for I guess. She was annoying and batsh!t crazy. The less I saw of her the better. No doubt she was off calling Drake. She should be worried. I wasn't joking about what I said. My family is very influential. Between my parents and Uncle Antonio I'd be surprised if Drake was still breathing right now. My father probably would be lenient, but my mum I'm not so sure about. Uncle Antonio for certain would have him removed from the equation because he was a problem. He'd say it was one less thing to think about.

She came back a few minutes later looking red in the face. That can't be good. Her fingers wrapped around my throat. "What did you do to my son?" She started squeezing. The b!tch was absolutely crazy. "I'm going to kill you." I tried to struggle against her. The chair shifted. She put more force behind her squeezing. My air supply started to cut off. I did the only thing that one could do in such a situation. I struggled; trying anyway I could get the air I needed to breathe. The chair wobbled and toppled over. It couldn't have happened at a better time. We fell to the ground and the chair broke apart. I rolled to get away from her. My hands were still tied but they weren't attached to the back of the chair anymore.
