No more tears left Asta's eyes. He had been crying so much he wondered if he had run out.He stood frozen in the large crowed, waiting to get on the boat that would take him and the remaining people to safety.

He couldn't find it in him to move himself, he was being pushed forward by the soldier that found him and took him away. He glanced around him occasionally, foolishly thinking he was seeing his mum and dad waiting for him.

He still hadn't come to terms with that fact they were dead and he would never be seeing them again.

He made his way onto the boat and slid down against a wall, squeezed in between two strangers. He brought his hands up to grip his hair and leaned his head against his knees, praying this was all a nightmare and he would wake up soon to his mother calling him. His stomach clenched and vomit threatened to leave his throat.

He gulped it down as the boat moved. He could hear the screams of the people who didn't make it on and the screams back of the guards, telling them there was no room left. They had to stay and they were most likely going to be killed.

He turned around, looking over the edge of the boat. Men, woman, children. They didn't deserve to die and yet that's what would happen. It was a cruel world he lived in. Not being able to look anymore and turned back around, going back to his original position and covering his ears. He didn't want to listen to their pleas anymore.

There were some who tried jumping on the boat but none made it and they fell back into the water with a splash.

He jumped in fright when a loud bang was heard. He was so scared. He didn't want to turn and look. Taking a deep breath, he pushed his fear to the side and looked. A large titan had bashed its way through the wall. The wall that once protected them.

"Asta..." Armin was kneeling in front of him, slowly putting his hands on his shoulders. "Thank god. You're okay." With a cry and leapt forward and hugged him tightly.

Asta didn't hug him back. Whether it was because he had no energy or he just didn't want to, he didn't know. He didn't feel one bit of comfort from the hug. He felt dead inside. Armin knew not to ask anything and continued to hug him.

They sat for a bit before Armin pulled back, grabbing Asta's hands and pulling him up. "Come on. Eren and Mikasa are around the corner. Let's go sit with them." He said gently.

Asta held a blank stare, feeling his body move on its own and letting Armin led him by the hand until they reached the two.

Eren was standing at the edge of the put, face enraged with tears streaming down his face. "I'm gonna put a stop to this! I'll kill them all! Every last one." His voice was dark and held conviction.
