"Hold on! I've got an idea!" Armin said, ripping his arm away from the grasp Asta had on him. Asta stopped his run and looked at the other blonde with raised eyebrows.
"What is it then?" Connie questioned, him and Mikasa also staring at Armin.
"Only you three are capable of pulling this off so it's really your choice. This may sound crazy but I think he might be useful." Armin said, referring to the Titan who was fighting its own kind.
"That thing?" Asta exclaimed with hesitation. Armin was smart, there was no doubt about that but was he really suggesting a titan could help them out? It was an insane thought.
"It only attacks his own kind." Armin said, giving Asta a firm look that said shut up and listen to me. "He seems to have no interest in us. What if somehow we can steer him to HQ and let him loose on the other titans? Look, we know he's taken at least one out already, we can use him as a weapon."
Asta raised his eyebrows. Armin sounded even more insane now but the plan... it was decent enough... if they could get it to work.
"You've got to be kidding! How the hell do you think we're supposed to steer that thing?!" Connie yelled.
"Something tells me he's fighting on instinct." Armin turned around to look at that titan that was still attacking the others. "I'm almost sure if you take down the paid he's tangling with now, he'll go look for others. That'll lead him straight to HQ. We're not steering him so much as luring him. I think it'll work, I really do."
"Think?! You're asking us to risk our necks on a stupid gut feeling?!" Connie took a step forward but he didn't get far as Asta grabbed his arm tightly and gave him a warning look. He didn't think he would actually attack Armin but with tension so high, who knew what he would do.
"If I'm right about this we could put down the siege of head quarters with one fell swoop."
"It's worth a shot." Mikasa spoke up for the first time and Connie gasped, not believing she was taking Armin's side on this. "Better to take a gamble on Armin's cut feeling then wait around to be slaughtered. If there's a decent shot why not take it?"
Armin smiled because of how she was agreeing, he turned his head to Asta who still looked hesitant. "We can do this. Trust me." The blonde said.
Asta sighed and looked between all of them. "Better then doing nothing. Let's do this."
"So basically we're going to recruit a titan?!" Connie waved his arms around, feeling like the only sane person out of all of them.
