Asta and Armin jumped from Eren's back as the titan stood up and roared. "Eren!" Armin yelled with relief.
"You did it." Asta said with a smile. "You woke up up!" He cheered and knocked Armin in the shoulder. The other blonde was smiling widely.
It seemed now that Eren had a goal in his mind, his titan form was focused on completing that goal. He instantly turned away from the small humans and walked over to the boulder.
"Yes! You got this, Eren." Asta said to himself as he watched Eren pick up the large boulder. It was massive and for a moment he thought Eren wouldn't be able to hold it but Eren was a lot stronger then Asta gave him credit for.
He held the boulder over his head and began to carry it to the hole. His footsteps creating a large thundering noise as he went.
"Come on!" Armin grabbed his arm and tugged him to the left. They followed Eren and landed on a roof where a couple other soldiers were. One of them being Mikasa. "Mikasa!" Armin yelled at he landed next to her.
"Armin! Asta!" Mikasa yelled back, her eyes catching sight of Eren.
"He came out of it somehow! We're set! He's determined to see the mission through to the end! As long as we've got his back while he heads for the wall, victory will be ours!"
"We got this!" Asta said.
Ian turned around to face them. "Defend him! To the last man if that's what it comes to! Eren must reach the gate! I don't want a single titan anywhere near him! The three of you, go! I want you with Eren immediately! Hop to, soldiers! That's an order!"
"Sir, yes, sir!"
Asta stood tall as he looked forward, seeing three titans approaching Eren with three solders chasing behind them.
"Team Mitabi! What are you doing!" Ian shouted.
"The ugly sons-a-bitches have lost all interest in us! We need to get close enough to grab their attention!" One of the soldiers on the ground yelled.
"Hey big guy, over here!" They came to a stop behind the three titans. Being on the ground was extremely dangerous and was supposed to be avoided at all times.
"You walkin' away? Maybe you want us to shove our blades right up your smelly asses?" Two of the titans turned around at the noise and began to walk back towards the soldiers on the ground. "It worked!"
"We got two of 'em!"
"Alright! Make a B-line for the buildings!" The three soldiers turned around and started running.
"They're insane!" Armin gasped out. "Setting foot down there is suicide! If they get cornered somewhere there'll be nothing they can do!"
Asta shook his head and pursed his lips. "They are doing what they have to to complete the mission. They know the risks." They deserved nothing but Asta's respect.
